Pros:

Check in was easy and welcoming. Ken helped with our bags & as it was raining we were escorted with an umbrella from our car to the reception. My mother, daughter and I booked a double room for a girly birthday get away, the room was spacious enough for our 1 night stay and the beds were clean and comfortable.

The spa facilities were the reason we booked, the pool a little on the cool side however that opinion is purely personal preference based. The hot tubs especially at night time were beautiful.
Do remember to take flip flops/sliders as the floor is a little slippery (my daughter forgot hers and was embarrassed so I left mine in the locker but definitely recommended)
If arriving early enough you can come and go back to the spa after food/a rest etc.
All staff were helpful and friendly.

Cons:

Unable to pay cash for anything at all.
Limited food menu for dietary requirements. We ended up driving into Heswall for our evening meal instead of having a burger or risotto.
It's really not difficult to adapt the majority of the menu to cater for most people (I am not restricted by religion however any who are would also struggle to eat with you)
I would be more than happy to suggest 5* menu inspiration- slight tweaks and we could have wined and dined likely spending £££'s in your beautiful dining rooms.

Complimentary water stands would be appreciated by all guests using spa facilities I imagine especially for first time guests (like every other spa up and down the country provides). Besides a communal drinking fountain tucked away in the corner with no signage we had to leave to get a drink of water.
Nothing fancy needed at all but paper cups and a drinking water tap would be better than nothing- or at least signage to the fountain with cups and a bin provided.

Robe hire is optional which we did at £8.50 each, recommended if using outside sauna & hot tubs in the rain & wind. Towels are replenishable upon request but to get one you need to leave the facilities, go through the changing room and back out to reception to ask for one. If that is not the case again signage wouldn't go a miss for new or 1st time guests.

With drinking water and towel access our experience would have been a lot more enjoyable.

Cons:

Too long of wait for food in the restaurant and not great quality and again over priced
