It did its job as a brief stopover for an early morning Eurostar departure. Quite adequate.
Pros:

Friendly and helpful young man on reception.
Clean bedroom and bathroom.
Minutes from St Pancreas Station.

Cons:

It was as was described. We knew the rooms were small so that was not a surprise. The bed was 3/4 size as opposed to double. The stairs going down to the room were very steep - would not pass planning approval nowadays.
