Pros:

Very hot day and this hotel has a lovely walled garden with swimming pool and sunshades/chairs which is very relaxing after a long drive. Also, love the terrace and the little square the hotel sits in-it is timeless.

Cons:

Nice room and cool but bathroom needs a little updating although shower worked well.

A great historic and characterful stop off near Le Mans
