Pros:

Le lieu géographie, l’architecture extérieur, l’agencement des jardins, le style de l’hôtel

Cons:

La vétusté de certains aménagements, nécessité de louer un ventilateur alors qu’on est en période de canicule auprès de la chambre, cela me semble vraiment inadaptée

If you could live here, we probably would :)
Pros:

We had planned to stay for a week but extended with a few extra days due to the heatwave further south, as we were so comfortable here. We had rooms with a terrace in the shade of a birch overlooking the garden and just down the corridor from the swimming pool. Rooms were spotlessly clean, beds very comfortable, the air con quiet (and it had to work hard!), there were two armchairs and an extra table which meant the whole family could be together in the evenings. The staff were all very kind, helpful and didn't mind us speaking terrible French... The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and there is a fabulous restaurant and bistro in the building. We didn't get a chance to try the (Michelin starred!) restaurant but the same chefs cook in the bistro which we tried three times - the menu is short but tight with lots of local produce and everything we had was spectacular, from the artichoke, clams and Breton board to the crab ravioli, pork, pulled beef burger and Pavlova and ice cream. Location is also perfect, with Saint Malo, Mont Saint Michel and other beautiful places all within less than half an hour in the car, and Rennes just a little further. As an aside: there are singing frogs in the ponds, some sweet hens and a friendly cat, and other guests had brought their pets along. A truly wonderful place.

Belle demeure et personnel attentionné.
Pros:

Parking facile. Chambre très correcte mais attention, il paraît que certaines d'entres-elles n'ont pas la clim.
Les personnes à l'accueil sont très serviables et efficaces a tel point qu'elles nous accompagnent jusqu'à la chambre.
Petit jardin dans les hauteurs avec des plantes aromatiques et un poulailler.

Piscine accessible mais probablement rapidement trop petite dès qu'il y a quelques personnes. Impossible de faire des longueurs, c'est plutot un bassin d'agrément et de détente. D'ailleurs 1 ou 2 degrés trop chaude.

Cons:

Pour un lieu qui héberge un restaurant gastronomique, on aurait pu imaginer un petit-déjeuner plus copieux ou/et inventif mais ce n'est pas le cas. Les plats chauds se resument à œufs brouillés et ... je ne me souviens même plus tellement c'était banal. Dommage.

Même les amis de la nature ont des limites et franchement, il faudrait chasser les quelques grenouilles du petit bassin. Celles-ci croassent énormément à de nombreuses reprises pendant la journée, c'est très désagréable lorsqu'on veut faire une sieste ou un petit repos mérité, la fenêtre entre ouverte.
Le calme qu'impose le jardin arboré, ombragé et fleuri perd, du coup, une grosse partie de son attrait, à cause de la pollution sonore. Attention je n'aurais pas du tout le même jugement si nous étions en pleine nature.

Cons:

Chambre sans climatisation (35*) pas d'ascenseur (requis à la resa)
Pas d'eau froide ( excuses: présence de groupe) lendemain REDEMANDÉ une chambre avec climatisation, (tjs la même température) accordée pour les 2 dernieres nuit ,moyennant 30€/nuit....tout cela concernant UN HOTEL 4 ETOILES ...quelque peu scandaleux

God for St Marlo & Train from the door but poor food
