Sehr freundliches und kompetentes Personal. Alle waren sehr aufmerksam. Man sieht, dass Ihnen die Arbeit Freude macht.
Schönes Ambiente im Speiseraum. Sehr gutes Essen und wunderbar serviert, super Weinberatung.
Im wunderschönen Park und Garten vergißt man die Zeit. Der perfekte Platz um zu entspannen, wandern, Natur.
Es gibt gar nichts zu beanstanden. Auch die Anlagen waren sehr gepflegt.
Es war eine angenehme, familiäre Atmosphäre. Die Lage ist idyllisch, bei guten Wetter viele Möglichkeiten die Natur zu erkunden und zu genießen.
Das Essen im Restaurant war hervorragend, fangfrischer Fisch.

This is a hotel located in a wonderful setting. superb grounds. great staff and made to feel very welcome. The room was clean with all the amenities one would expect of a good quality hotel
Due to the remote location one has little choice but to eat at the hotel. Normally not a problem. Unfortunately this was where it all went a bit wrong. We will ignore the dead fly in the wine glass on the table - that just means no one has eaten there in a while. Dinner menu was limited - two starters (maybe because there was only two rooms booked that night)- Home made Fois Gras at 22 Euros served with only one slice of toast or Gazpacho Soup at 12 Euros. Both seemed expensive to me. I then ordered Fillet of Beef at 25 Euros expecting Fillet steak or at least a good Sirloin. What I got was really no better than I have had for a minute steak sandwich. The minimal quantity of vegetables were over cooked and the chips had been heavily salted and I suspect could have been frozen stock.
One had to mark up a list of what you wanted for breakfast, which seemed unusual, but then when we got to breakfast there were bits missing that we had requested. The bread had been cut not only into sections but also in half making it stale on the inside - there was no need of that.
This struck me as a hotel owner who thought they were a Corden blue chef, tried to serve Nouveau cuisine at top prices but didn't have the ability to deliver. A good restaurant with good food will attract custom. The fact that there was no locals coming in for a meal says a lot. The next evening we had a 4 course meal at the next hotel we stayed at for 15 Euros - well cooked no pretention and full of locals. so it is possible to be done.
