Enttäuschend: unbeholfenes Personal - wenig Servicebereitschaft
Pros:

Leider war dieses Hotel eine Enttäuschung. Die Suiten waren zwar ganz nett eingerichtet, allerdings war die Terrasse nicht besonders einladend. Eine Betonterasse ohne Hecke oder Abtrennug zum Nachbarn. Davor ausgetrocknete Pflanzen.
Der Pool wäre nett gewesen, wenn sich nicht dauernd Pensionistengruppen darin gesuhlt und sich lautstark unterhalten hätten, sodass man es 10 Meter weiter auch noch gehört hat .

Cons:

Das Personal: der Standardspruch: C'est pas possible. Ob man ein Getränk aufs Zimmer (Suite) wollte, einen kleinen Snack am Nachmittag bei Ankunft, einen Tisch im Restaurant am Abend oder draußen (bei 25 Grad) auf der Terrasse zu frühstücken. Das war zumindest nach 3 Mal nachfragen dann möglich. Allerdings liegt diese Frühstücksterrasse direkt an der Straße.
Die Atmosphäre im Frühstücksraum entspricht der eines Speisesaals in einem 3*Hotel und wer weich gekochte Eier wollte, oder Teller und kleine Löffel, wurde ebenfalls enttäuscht.

Leider wirkte die gesamte Anlage etwas verwahrlost und ungepflegt. Ja, es waren trockene , heiße Tage, aber andere Hotels haben es auch geschafft, die Vegetation durch Bewässerung schön zu gestalten. Von Glycinien war daher nichts zu sehen. Auch sonst alles vertrocknet.

Dank einer Rezeptionistin haben wir dann immerhin in einem anderen Hotel in Les Eyzies , dem Le Centenaire, zu abend gegegessen - das war herrlich. Wir würden nächstes Mal unbedingt in diesem Hotel übernachten. Es bot eine wunderbare gediegene Atmosphäre - beim gleichen Preis.

Belle chambre et restaurant sublime
Pros:

Chambres très confortable sur le jardin. Spacieuses et chaleureuses. Propre. Hôtel à pied du centre.
Délicieux dîner et service au restaurant gastronomique. Belle piscine!

Cons:

1/ Le service de l hôtel globalement. (Restaurant parfait) Personne au bord de la piscine pour proposer de commander des boissons, ni au bar pour un apéritif, attente du serveur 10 min au petit déjeuner et service un peu expéditif… les produits sont de qualité globalement mais pas beaucoup de choix, notamment pour les thés (pas de thé earl grey par exemple, pas de pain spéciaux complet type viking ou campagne….) les présentoirs ne sont pas bien regarnis (pancakes vides, œufs brouillés vides, salade de fruits...) Il a fallu demander pour qu’ils pensent à recharger. Pour le
prix un peu décevant.
2/ dommage que le bistrot ne soit pas ouvert le soir, on n a pas envie de gastro tous les soirs…
3/ accès au spa payant (35€) et cher même pour les clients de l hôtel.

Pros:

Fantastisch mooie locatie. Je komt hier helemaal tot rust als je in de mooie (enorme) tuin ligt te zonnen. Fijn zwembad. Mooie grote kamer. Wij hadden een erg mooie 3-persoons kamer. Lekker ruim. Voldoende te zien/doen op max. 30min rijden.

Cons:

Bij het zwembad was er geen afvalbak of wc. Ontbijt vonden we wat beperkt voor de prijs wat je betaald.

Luxe, calme et volupté sur la Vezère, havre de paix
Pros:

Le cuisine étoilée est magnifique et pourrait - nous semble t il - tenter une deuxième étoile, pour sa subtilité et sophistication. Le balcon sur le parc est mirifique. Mais autre bonne surprise, le bistro (à midi) est tenu par la même équipe, donc offre une surprise délicieuse même si plus simple - « le petit restaurant » d’un chef étoilé en quelque sorte.

Cons:

Il manque peut être un bricoleur / homme à tout faire pour réparer rapidement une table basse éraflée ou le placage des étagères qui pendouille (chambre 8!).

Pros:

The hotel was just as I remembered it. Beautiful rooms looking out in a courtyard that leads to a very nice swimming pool. Everything about the stay was nice except the restaurant which was very disappointing. I had remembered this from four years ago as a lovely wonderful Happy meal. This time terrible service and ridiculous pricing. They force you into tasting menus with high price and tiny portions. No flexibility. Everybody has to get the same thing. This caused great problems because one member of our family was not feeling well and couldn’t eat much. Also, the seating for the restaurant was in full sun at 8:00 PM and everybody on the patio was uncomfortable as the sun ran its way across their attempted protection of flimsy curtains. That ridiculously expensive meal was the low point of our time in France,

Ein wunderbarer Ort. Erholung pur. Topp Umgebung, sehr gepflegt. Tolle Küche mit hervorragendem Essen.Gerne hätten wir eine weitere Nacht dazugenommen. Wir mussten aus zeitlichen Gründen leider weiter reisen.

Pros:

Beautiful grounds, wonderfully air-conditioned rooms during the heat wave. The pool is very nice, service from all staff was excellent and friendly.

Book the restaurant before you book a room
Pros:

Pros - beautiful junior suite very comfy bed , lovely gardens and pool , stylish property

Cons - having paid nearly €400 for a room I expected to be be able to reserve a table in their Michelin * restaurant- this is why we booked / unfortunately the restaurant was fully booked so this was not possible - gutted ! They did recommend a restaurant locally which we tried and it was the worst meal of our trip :(

Aircon’d lovely rooms. Beautiful garden with pool amid beautiful location.

Cons:

Rather underwhelmed by the 7-course speciality evening restaurant meal, despite Michelin star and price. Sorry.

Pros:

Beautiful hotel in a lovely location. Rooms were fabulous, everything we required, clean and beautifully decorated.
The swimming pool and gardens were very tranquil and relaxing.
The staff were exceptional.

Cons:

The only fault I could see from our point of view was the dinner menu in the restaurant. I am sure the gastronomic restaurant food is fabulous but as a family it really wasn’t suitable so we had to venture out into the village to find suitable food. Otherwise the service and facilities were excellent.
