Mon séjour sait bien passé, mais je trouve le prix élevé pour la période.

La salle de bain : fil du sèche cheveux avec 2 mm de crasse dessus , absence de mini bar , verre non emballé et pose à même le plan de travail , papier peint qui se décolle , prise murale à même le sol , étagère qui supporte de papier toilette détaché du mur et j en passe... et quand je demande à changer de chambre : il m est répondu que les autres ne sont pas

Faire un geste commercial ou offrir le petit déjeuner aurait été le minimum !! A fuit absolument !!!

Nous avons séjourné dans une chambre côté jardin (Tanneries) c'est très calme mais il faut traverser la route pour aller prendre le petit déjeuner. Le réfrigérateur se trouve dans le couloir et il est à partager avec les autres résidants.

We stayed here for a night as it is well-placed for a visit to George Sand's house at Nohant. This is a traditional French country hotel although we were allocated a room in the modern extension across the road. Good and secure parking. Friendly reception. Room was spacious with access to gardens, fixtures and fittings in bathroom perhaps in need of a slight refurbishment. Evening meal from the fixed menu was excellent and inexpensive, breakfast in the morning was equally good. Would definitely stay here again.

Rapport qualite-prix correct. Regret principal : l'absence de climatisation, pendant la nuit, alors que l'on était en période de canicule. Petit déjeuner un peu cher, à 10 euros.

Jag hade bokat fel datum, de väntade på oss dagen innan, men vi fick ett rum.

We spent a night in the Lion d'Argent as it's conveniently located only 4 kms from George Sand's museum in Nohant. The reception was kind and efficient, they offered to book a table for us in the restaurant downstairs. The budget room was quite clean, although it smelled humid and was in need of updating. No fridge/minibar as promised, no wi-fi signal in the room. I imagine the rooms in the garden on the other side of the street are more modern and better equipped. Still, a good budget option if you just need to spend the night and don't expect too much.

Was House hunting in the area and this was a perfect base, the town has many facilities that are all close to the hotel. Great staff, very welcoming and tried hard to make our stay good. Breakfast was also much better then the average in France.

This hotel requires a good modernization and a good clean it is very tired and requires an upgrade and update.

Nice little basic hotel in a pleasant little town which is worth strolling around.

Ideal for a family stopover in the garden rooms.

Exceptionally friendly welcome from all the hotel staff we encountered. After a good meal in the restaurant, we finished our bottle of wine sitting on the terrace outside our room. The only negative point for us was the location of the hotel on a busy roundabout on the outskirts of town.
