Hotel Mediterraneo Valencia

We appreciate the position (in the center of the city and near the metro) but also the breakfast served starting from 730 every day. Recommended

We arrived at the hotel with our family during the New Year period. The hotel’s facilities, cleanliness, and the attentiveness and kindness of the staff were a pleasant surprise. We are especially grateful to the colleague at breakfast who does everything possible to ensure that guests receive everything immediately, and who is also very polite and kind. The hotel’s location is excellent—everything is quick and easy to reach. The rooms are comfortable and immaculate.

The hotel is close to the airport metro. It is also close to the market and old town with many restaurants and bars. The room was modern and clean. The breakfast was fantastic.

Cosy and clean room with very comfortable beds. The hotel is in a perfect central location, making it easy to explore the city. Great value for money, and the staff from the Netherlands was exceptionally kind, friendly, and helpful, which made the stay even more enjoyable.

This is a 3 star hotel with the staff providing a 5 star experience.
We want wish to express our thanks and gratitude to this hotel. As a coeliac it was appreciated that the breakfast offered gluten free options for me and staff were aware without prompting.
The hotel is ideally situated for new and old parts of the city with walking distance. The rooms were spotless, comfortable and a reasonable size.
The reception staff especially, Luis, Vincente & Leonardo were very kind and caring providing much needed support to our extended family.
Valencia is a lovely city and our 3 days there wasn’t enough so we’ll be back , when we do return we know where we will be staying.

I recently stayed here with friends for a 60th break for 4 nights and am so glad we chose this hotel! From our arrival to departure nothing was too much trouble for the friendly, helpful, polite, staff, each & every one of them were so lovely … Colette, Vincente, Luis, Felip & Leonardo all service with a smile :) I shared a twin room and the room was modern, beds were so comfy, great air con, bathroom with all amenities required and good sized power shower. So quiet at night but easy walking to distance to many bars, restaurants, tourist attractions, transport and all Valencia has to offer. I must mention the breakfast it was wonderful so much choice, something for the fussiest eater and everything fresh! This boutique hotel is a hidden gem and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting this lovely historic cultural city.

Centrally located. 24hr reception desk. Easy access from airport via Metro and a 10 minute walk. Variety of restaurants and cafes nearby. Friendly, welcoming, English speaking. Sites within walking distance. Lift available. Over 50, female solo traveller, single room. Room was small however sufficient, comfortable and clean. Kettle available. Breakfast was good with a wide selection of both hot and cold. Breakfast hall even though small is managed well by the staff with constant top ups.

The hotel is just a short walk away from the city hall square. A great location of ith all sort of amenities.

My stay at the hotel was extremely pleasant. One of the best advantages is hotel's location - just a few minutes walk from old city center and turist attractions, close to the metro and train stations, with many nice cafe around. Staff was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very decent, comparing to the same price range hotels in other Spanish cities. Good selection of ham, cheese, yaourts, pastries, cereals, juices etc. Our room and bathroom were extremely clean, we appreciated kettle and mini fridge in the room. Beds, pillows and blankets were comfortable.
The only disadvantage we managed to find during our 5 days stay - poor soundproofing of the room. If you have neighbours with loud voices or with children, you will hear everything.

I stayed in the Hotel Mediterraneo for nine days in early March 2025. The hotel is small, extremely clean and pleasingly modern. There is not a spacious lobby but there is a well stocked small bar and seating area. The reason for my review is the outstanding staff. My luggage was lost for five days. The front desk staff were super helpful to me in making phone calls to the airlines and airport. They never hesitated to stop whatever they were doing to spend as much time with me as i needed to locate the luggage (sometimes long waits on the phone,etc.) Add to that each and every one of them were amazingly cheerful and helpful bou where to go in Valencia and how to get there. They made what could have been a pretty stressful experience (no meds, no clothing, daily rain) into a very pleasurable stay. Highly recommend.

Location was great, close to Metro to travel to and from Airport. Helpful and kind staff. Lovely breakfast, hot and cold choice. Great coffee and lovely pastries. Close to city centre and all attractions. Great food market at the top of the street, within walking distance. Worth a visit.

Very nice hotel situated in the center town (old city) at a few meters of all interesting places.
The hotel has character, the staff is very competent and helpful. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable with air conditioning. The bathroom/toilet is modern. The breakfast is very good and for all tastes (continental or English).

Excellent for families- location, service, breakfast, rooms. Very welcoming staff, all information needed for exploring the city just at hand, 24/7 reception with security control, you feel safe at the very heart of the city. Pharmacy and shop nearby - 10-20m

Great little, modern, airy hotel! Staff are friendly, always with a smile upon their face. Convenient, walking distance, for both the historical center and various museums as well as the business district. Excellent transport links adjacent to the hotel. Breakfast is one of the best we have encountered in a small hotel such as this - with a plethora of choices available. Again, all staff at breakfast are exceptional. Cleaning staff are very polite with a smile upon their face. Room and bathroom always impeccably clean. Would highly recommend whether for a short stay or indeed for longer.

Very good hotel, modern, clean and very pleasant staff. Air conditioning was exceptional in the searing heat of Valencia. Rooms basic but modern, fridge very welcome addition. Breakfast was good with ample choice. Hotel very central. A few bars just outside hotel which were good and away from hustle and bustle of Centre. Would definitely return if in Valencia. Fantastic city.

I stayed at this hotel for one night because I was visiting a friend in Valencia and I was very very happy with my stay! The hotel is very well located in the centre of Valencia and all the main attractions are within walking distance. The service is very friendly and always helped me. I had also booked breakfast, which I was also very happy with. The room was very spacious and tastefully decorated. A very successful stay and absolutely recommendable!

Stayed there multi times and it’s a great little clean hotel convenient location for a train to Madrid or Barcelona. Will use them again when in Valencia

The property is nice. The room is bigger than expected, looks newly renovated. However, we can smell cigarette smoke in our room and also a weird smell in the lobby and on the hallway. My wife and I did not make it a big deal. Breakfast was basic continental option. The best thing about this hotel is the location being very close to a lot of dining options and shops. The staff was friendly and helpful.
