La gentillesse du personnel et son attention envers ses clients
fenêtres de chambre à simple vitrage; la salle de bain est un peu désuète et aurait besoin d'être mise au goût du jour.
Location and reception manager
Bad smell in room. Shower and bath not working properly. Coffee machine broken. Hotel empty and exterior lighting not lit. Walked dogs in complete darkness using light from phones.
Atmosphere, Landscape, Architecture, History
De receptionist/ barman was ongelooflijk vriendelijk en super behulpzaam, trots op zijn werkomgeving.
Die passie was duidelijk voelbaar.
Het gaf dadelijk een thuisgevoel ❤️
The property is stunning on the outside and the staff is very attentive and sweet. The dining rooms are like being in a castle so that part was truly amazing. We had brought our dog and the staff had gone out of their way to make it extra special for our dog so we were so happy with that part.
Coming from the hotelindustry myself I would say that the hotell and its restaurant is very pricey for what the rooms offer and what the restaurant quality is like. The restaurant is stuning but the food tastes nothing. Its really the first time I have to write that in my life, and its too expensive for what the quality is.
Extremely run down property. Not sure how it is given 5 star. The bed linen was torn. Dinner chair was broken! Room windows were nearly falling apart
Beautiful chateau however a bit tired
The staff were inattentive and seemed uninterested in customers
It is quite wonderful with ruins "attached" that lend a lovely atmosphere. Parking is easy. Food excellent but could be better. We had the tasting menu which consisted of courses from the a la carte menu. The portion size was too large for multiple servings and in some instances looked the same as on other tables. We didn't have the wine pairing but I'm sure that it would be top class. Breakfast was very good with French style + and excellent range but hot food was not cooked fresh for each guest which wasn't quite right. We were upgraded ("as the Hotel wasn't full") (that took a little gloss off the upgrade) to room 1 which was good but no shower seemed odd. Nice little terrace for privacy however and a pretend 4 poster so not bad. We are English (as were many other guests) so it was odd that not all staff seem to speak it. Drink prices were as expected for this class of hotel. I wasn't asked for my key on departure and forgot to hand it in (posted back from our next hotel - old age?) just a word would have saved me and them. Noisy toilet.
Overall a luxury stay that just misses the standard of the best hotels but good value for the price.

Site magnifique, chambre spacieuse , piscine circulaire étonnante et spa exceptionnel.
Le repas du soir en terrasse était parfait ainsi que le petit déjeuner !

Beautiful property and grounds
dinner - excellent food and wine selection
only after booking are you made aware there were no treatments available.
the Jacuzzi is cold. You have to ask for the Sauna to be turned on (was not aware).
Kids using the outdoor pool like a water park,
Mooie locatie
Niet vijf sterren waardig. Zwembad en kamer waren niet proper.
Beautiful location, friendly staff in general, nicely decorated room
For a 5star hotel, the TV was not working and the staff was unable to solve it. No gesture despite this problem. The decoration of the walls in the dining rooms was not consistent with the castle’s history.
Расположение. Очень вежливый персонал.
Historic chateau hotel with moated ruined castle. Staff were charming. Spa on site. 4 of us stayed a night in 2 rooms. Supper was delightful on a lovely terrace area.
No air conditioning in rooms, fans on request. Pool needed cleaning so didn't use. Upkeep needed some more attention.
The history and location
This does not warrant 5 stars. One expects a good size fluffy bath towel. When paying £340 a night and asked to pay extra for more than 2 teabags in the room and a half bottle of water provided per day ? Really? Whilst it is a historic building it is scruffy in parts and uncared for.
The swimming pool and surrounding area was not clean.
Food v good. View amazing, location amazing - the whole experience was really lovely
Pool area - the pool gate was broken and a glass broken by pool (nice to have glass but by a pool it's a bit risky re shards in feet)a few noisy guests by pool but it settled down
