An enjoyable stay.
Pros:

Nice, clean and tidy. Staff are very nice and helpful. Speaks English very well.

Cons:

Don’t expect a Chateau, it is more like a castle like hotel. Dinner taste has some room for improvement.

Man fühlt sich geadelt im Schloss
Pros:

Das Schloss liegt am Rande von Monpazier, sehr ruhig gelegen und an der Rückseite, wo wir unser Zimmer hatten, öffnet sich die Landschaft nach Westen und zum Sonnenuntergang. Das Haus ist brillant geführt, das Frühstück, das man draussen oder drinnen einnehmen konnte, war phänomenal, und das Dinner hat uns sehr geschmeckt. Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam, der Zimmerservice ausgezeichnet. Alles in allem war der Aufenthalt sehr unkompliziert, überhaupt nicht steif oder zu sehr mit Etiketten belastet. Ausserdem ist man mit wenigen Schritten im Städtchen, das für uns eines der schönsten im Périgord war.
