Very good
Pros:

Booked last minute for 1 night stay. Clean and comfortable room with nice bathroom and shower. Friendly man at reception did his best despite us not speaking French. Has a restaurant on site and is easy walking distance to the train station.

Cons:

Breakfast was alright but not many options considering the price.

Supposedly an excellent restaurant, but the rooms leave a little to be desired, especially during warm weather.
Pros:

The hotel is in an excellent location right beside a river. And the restaurant is supposedly very good, although we did not eat a meal there. This also appeared to be the only hotel we could find in this town at this time of year.

Cons:

We were travelling by bicycle during a heat wave, so we had messaged the property ahead of time to inquire whether they had air-conditioning or a fan. We only received a one word answer, which was “yes“ however, when we arrived, we found there was no air-conditioning and no fence either. The manager suggested we did not need them, but our room was extremely hot and we knew we would not be able to sleep without a fan. We therefore ended up having to go to a local hardware store to buy our own fan. We also had to open the windows during the evening to keep the apartment somewhat less hot, but this only let a bunch of bugs in. We did have breakfast here, but for the price, it was pretty sparse.

Welcoming,Clean and Friendly
Pros:

The premises are set in a lovely village and are a family run business. The owners are very welcoming, friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed and calming. The rooms are clean, we had a view of the river that runs alongside the premises. The restaurant serves good food and is reasonably priced. A great base for this region of France.
