Nothing, it was charmingly decorated, lovely pool and spaciois rooms!
Perfect central location but tranquil, Just a few steps to the restaurants, shops, a mini market, the produce and crafts market, the bus stops and the beaches. The staff are quietly efficient and nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast is a huge choice with everything fresh and thoughtfully provided, even home made cakes and a facility to boil your own eggs. Our Room 4 was large with a garden view and a separate seating area. The wifi and TV worked very well. The bathroom was equally large and the water supply was hot and efficient. The pool area and garden are gorgeous -an oasis of calm and beauty. The clientele were mostly middle aged couples and behaved considerately at all times. I cannot see how a hotel in busy Collioure could be better than Casa Pareil.
Everything was perfect. All the rooms are very individual and different to one another so it may be worth checking what room you are allocated,
We loved the atmosphere but younger people. especially groups may find the hotel a little too quiet!
The beaches do not have loungers or sunshades for hire - everyone sat on the sand or shingle and took their own parasols/

The hotel is beautiful, with an idyllic garden where you can lounge, picnic, or have a glass of wine. The pool is a delight - small, but big enough to swim. Staff are unfailingly kind, professional and helpful - it is an exceptionally well-run place. Spotlessly clean. Good beds and big, well-designed bathrooms, air-con unit in sensible place, and we hardly heard a peep from outside our (attic) room. Breakfast is fairly pricey, but really good (scrambled egg perfect) with a lot of choice, so worth the money if you go hungry! The location is fantastic; it’s a three-minute stroll to the sea, with useful things like a supermarket and post office moments from the door.

I can’t think of a thing - it’s one of the loveliest hotels I’ve ever stayed at.
I know some people prefer slicker, more modern design, or lots of lively events in their hotels - if that’s you, don’t pick this one.

Very comfortable boutique hotel directly in the centre of Collioure. At the same time very quiet with a wonderful garden and very nice swimming pool area. Rooms have been refurbished recently, so much better than 7 years ago. Friendly and attentive staff. Private carpark a big plus in Collioure.
We loved Hotel La Casa Pairal.It was a perfectly located haven for our 2 night stay in Collioure in May.With breakfast in the garden,and the beautiful pool and excellent staff and service, we had a very happy stay.
