Grand Hôtel de Solesmes

Très bel hôtel au charme et déco très british, literie de qualité, personnel attentionné et petit déjeuner très complet.

Malheureusement jaccuzi en panne et aucune information avant notre arrivée
On nous dis en arrivant petit incident d un client et le lendemain on nous dit en panne et pas les pièces un peu limite
pas de serviettes dans la chambre un oublie pas acceptable pour le prix de la chambre
Même pas un petit geste commerciale au moment de réglé
Mais je recommande quand même car il est très agréable

It was our first time at the Grand Hotel. We stayed at the hotel on our way to catch the ferry from
Caen to the UK. The location is very peaceful next to the Solesmes Abbey. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the restaurant was of a high quality. Our superior room had a balcony and air con and was spacious. Our little border terrier, Lola, was made very welcome and we found a lovely walk next to the river behind the Abbey.
We will definitely come back.

La chambre était tout à fait correcte. J'ai semble-t'il été surclassée, ayant réservée la dernière chambre ce soir là.
Par contre, le restaurant était plus que décevant, on m'avait indiqué que le restaurant était complet alors qu'il était vide, j'étais même isolée, le service a duré presque 2 h 1/2 pour un repas ne nécessitant pas une préparation particulière...

Excellent accueil! Le service du restaurant est rapide et efficace.
Nous y reviendrons!
Superbe balade le long de la Sarthe à 2 pas de l’hôtel.

Nous avons passé un tres bon moment mes filles et moi. Que ce soit l'accueil, le personnel la qualite du diner et du petit dejeuner, la prestation de la chambre tout etait parfait. Bravo aux differents personnels qui nous ont accueilli avec sourrire, ecoute et professionnalisme. Au plaisir de revenir sans hésitation

Hotel was clean and comfortable and the food in the restaurant was exceptional. However the hotel was just too hot. The air conditioning in the restaurant was barly functioning and there was no A.C. in the room - other than an electric fan. Using the booking 'filter' I requested a hotel with A.C in the room.

Hôtel confortable, propre, en constante amélioration.

A beautiful hotel in a very picturesque town. We arrived quite late and they managed to squeeze us in to the restaurant for an excellent meal (for example there were 19 cheeses to choose from on the cheeseboard). Only issue was that it was a hot night and there is no air con, which would have been nice but not essential as we were able to leave the balcony window open. A lot of attention to detail otherwise.
