Great location, friendly, helpful staff and a hotel that lives up to its promise
Pros:

Perfect location for the Sunegga funicular lift and Flexrent ski shop around the corner. Bus stop to Matterhorn Ski Paradise 1 min walk away. Rooms well appointed and the balcony view of the Matterhorn didn’t disappoint. Near to shops/Migros. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice of cereals, meats/cheese/pastries/fruit and your choice of eggs/bacon and selection of coffee options and juice to wash it all down. The spa and pool were excellent. A complimentary lift to/from Zermatt train station was most welcome. But the most stand out point for us was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff team. Thank you Gabriel and Team for making our stay memorable.

Прекрасный отель, очень качественный. Настоящие 4****. По началу показалось, что номер выглядит совсем уж скромно (у нас была самая простая категория), но потом мы изменили своё мнение. Видно, что владельцы сделали номера и отель в целом продуманным, использовали качественный материалы. делали всё с душой.

Еще точно хочу отметить классные завтраки, отличную сауну (хорошая температура и влажность – удавалось классно прогреться после катания). И дружелюбный и помогающий с любыми вопросами персонал.

Классный отель, отличное соотношение цены/качества. Однозначно хотим вернуться еще.

Cons:

Для любителей "тяжёлого люкса" и номеров с богатым декором не подойдет. Тут аскетичный швейцарский стиль.

Pros:

All good and perfect and the staff was really friendly, amazing. Position is top.

Cons:

Just the bathroom under the rooftop, was not easy to take a shower as it was was low for a normal person.

Sehr cooles und leckeres Frühstücks Buffet, einfach toll

Cons:

Die Einzelzimmer sind leider im Untergeschoss und daher ist länger schlafen ohne Oropax nicht möglich, ansonsten sind die Zimmer ok

I would go back to Hotel Metropol every time. The staff truly made our stay memorable and so enjoyable! We had the wrong
Pros:

The location was amazing. Loved the pool,
hot tub & steam room. The breakfast was great and the staff were lovely and accommodating.

Cons:

The ceiling over the tub in our bathroom on the top floor of the hotel was slanted making it a little difficult to shower for someone over 6’2” tall. I think it was the only room that was like that.

Que du bonheur!
Pros:

Le buffet du petit déjeuner est varié et bon. Chambre magnifique, balcon avec vue sur le Cervin. Emplacement au top, bien situé. Un accueil chaleureux, personnel aux petits soins, un joli spa avec ses baies vitrées et vue sur le Cervin. J'ai passé un agréable séjour et j'y reviendrai. Merci.
