Pros:

The staff were all so friendly and always more than happy to help if we had any queries. The room was a good size and very neat. The views from the balcony were stunning. Location was perfect. We used bus to get around the entire island - everywhere accessible via bus, very cheap, and can buy tickets at hotel reception. The pool is beautiful, big and plenty of deck chairs are readily available. Food at the hotel was also very tasty and nice views whilst eating breakfast. Really impressed with this hotel and would highly recommend

Quaint hotel with great breakfasts and pool area
Pros:

The excellent breakfasts on the deck with a great view. The lovely pool area. A quiet space near the pool that our group of 8 could meet for aperitivo each evening. Great seafood restaurants down the (quite steep) hill from the hotel. Close to the Poseidon Thermal Pools, which we’d highly recommend for a great day out. Close to a bus stop for trips to nearby towns.

Cons:

While very clean, the rooms could benefit with an update. They are quite old-fashioned. Various sized rooms…ours was very small, others in our group had different configurations. We all stayed in ocean-facing rooms, which we’d recommend. The hotel advertised ‘beach-front’ but it definitely isn’t. It’s quite a long, steep walk down…and up from…the beach. But we enjoyed the exercise to wear off all the wonderful food and drink we consumed!

L'hotel ha una vista mozzafiato sulla spiaggia di Citara. L'accoglienza è attenta e disponibile: la vera ciliegina sulla torta è stata la calorosa ospitalità del proprietario, il quale ci ha trattato con massima cura e gentilezza. Ci siamo sentiti proprio a casa!

Capizzo, en liten pärla utanför Forio.
Pros:

Ett alldeles utmärkt litet hotell med en underbar utsikt över Citarabukten och Tyrrenska havet. Solnedgångarna var fantastiska. Rummet med balkong var mycket bra.

Vi hade en fin och skön vecka här, tyst och lugnt. Inget busliv, ingen hög musik eller annat som störde. Kan bero på att alla gäster var 50 år och uppåt, precis som vi.

Trevlig personal, även om språkkunskaperna inte var 100% till vår fördel. Det gick emellertid bra med att kombinera engelska med de italienska fraser jag lärt mig. Tyska går också bra att använda, det var också nationaliteten på merparten av gästerna vid vår vistelse.

Frukosten höll inte riktigt svensk hotellstandard men där fanns det viktigaste för en bra start på dagen.

Hotellvärden Vincenzo var en mycket trevlig man och gav oss god hjälp med det vi behövde. Baristan, en lite mindre man, var mycket trevlig och rolig. Uppfattade dock aldrig hans namn.

Poolområdet var också mycket trevligt och planteringarna med växter och träd bidrog till en fin inramning av hotellet.

Restaurangen på hotellet var inte riktigt som vi hade förväntat oss men italienarna verkar ha ett lite annorlunda sätt att inta måltider än vi är vana vid i Sverige. Sängarna var heller inte riktigt bra men vi kunde sova ändå.

Kort sagt, letar man ett lugnt boende på den vackra ön Ischia och vill ha vacker havsutsikt kan jag rekommendera Capizzo.

Cosy hotel in a great location; mins from Poseidon & Citara beach
Pros:

Loved my stay here, very comfortable rooms. So close to Poseidon, Citara beach and the bus stop. The staff very really helpful particularly as they knew I was a solo female traveler. The bfast was great too and nice to have a pool in the hotel. I loved the area, it was quite relaxed and accessible.

Cons:

The pool is warm spring water so a very hot day it can feel slightly uncomfortable.

Great views , but needs and update.
Pros:

The property is in a spectacular location with incredible views.Stunning! It’s a good base for travelling around the island with excellent restaurants at the bottom of the hill. Bus stop very convenient and breakfast reasonable. Also close to Thermal pools .

Cons:

It’s advertised as beach frontage , the reason I chose this property for 8 friends, and I was disappointed it wasn’t. Our room with a balcony was incredibly small. We had issues with our booking and even though we all booked Seaview rooms we were given different prices and my price was over 280 euros more than the others . After huge negotiations we were given some money back but it didn’t align with our friends prices. Breakfast was reasonable but some days things ran out and they weren’t replaced. As I found this property for everyone I was disappointed that it was old fashioned, with rules such as having to wear a swimming cap in the pool and the decor was tired looking. A lot of potential but in need of an update . We arrived a night earlier than our friends, and this property was booked out so we had to go to another hotel nearby……. What a difference between the two… so I wished I had booked this hotel for all our friends.

Cons:

I booked 8 months in advance for a room with a balcony and a view of the pool. This is what the picture showed on my reservation. The room I got had no view, not even a garden. It was a cement wall. They refused to make a change and refused to compensate. I am a single. The only picture is a single room on the website is beautiful. I feel misled.

The views in here are absolutely fantastic, truly recommend! The location is good,very close to Poseidon Terme! The bus stop just a minute away. The food was very tasty,and the views from the restaurant made it even more enjoyable! The pool was nice too! So almost everything you need for a perfect stay!

It s hard to say something bad about this place !
But if is to give a fair feedback I would say that the shower was a bit narrow for me,i felt very uncomfortable when I had my 1st shower but then I got used.also in places where the tap water is not good to drink I expect a bottle of water in the room. I didn't mind buying from the bar where the prices were even reasonable!
