Jardim do Vau

We just arrived home from this lovely hotel after a one month gay. We are seniors and loved all the facilities t this hotel, it has front desk service 24/7 and all the staff are very friendly and most speak English and MARTA in the front office was always so efficient and helpful. It has an indoor pool, gym, library, hot tub and restaurant and the grounds are so beautiful and well maintained. It was ways kep so clean. We loved the location and since we did not have a car we took the u er everywhere even to the little outlying villages and all were better than renting a car since my husband does not walk well, we did not have to worry about finding parking spaces in the small towns that ll have limited parking as we were picked up and dropped off at our locations. It was very quiet and felt very safe, about a 10 min walk from the hustle and bustle. My husband had to visit the private clinic while we were there and their system was so very efficient we waited only 15 minutes he had rays blood work, etc and we were back at our hotel 2 hr later.
Anyway highly recommend this excellent hotel and we will return

A well appointed unit that was very comfortable. The reception staff were great and helpful. Very easy to get UBERs to anywhere.

We have just returned from a 5 week stay at Jardim do Vau, we thoroughly enjoyed it, our apartment B204 was very spacious, an open plan living, dining and kitchen area, good sized bathroom with shower over the bath and a very good size bedroom, very comfortable twin beds, hanging space, shelves and drawers and the safe is also in the wardrobe and it is free. Anna our lady came in every day apart from Sundays, she was absolutely amazing and she certainly went above and beyond to help us during our stay. We hired a mobility scooter for my Husband, he charged it in our hallway so there was plenty of room, the only downside was he had to go around the building to go out, there again dropped kerbs are very sparse wherever you go in Portugal. The only downside was the weather but luckily the hotel didn’t suffer flooding

Super locatie, dicht bij het strand, heerlijk zwembad (alleen binnen gebruik van gemaakt), genoeg parkeerplekken indien je met de auto komt, ruim appartement, dagelijkse schoonmaak.
Supermarkt en centrum op 5-10 min rijden.
Let op: bij zwembad badmuts gebruiken.

The Jardim do Vau is in a fantastic location, 2 minutes from the beach and within easy walk to Praia Da Rocha.
The accomodation was very clean and spacious, it would be ideal for a family holiday.
We will return in the future for sure.

I had a good time at Jardim do Vau with my wife and our 2 small children. The location is directly on a beautiful beach, and the reception staff are very helpful and friendly.

I wanted to give 5 stars, but unfortunately, one day before we were about to leave, we were treated very rudely by an older blonde woman at the swimming pool. About 10 minutes before 7:00 p.m., she came to the pool to warn people that it would close at 7:00 p.m.
While I was in the changing room, she came inside and rudely told me to hurry up, repeatedly saying, “It’s closed! It’s closed!” while pointing at her watch.
Then she rushed both me and my small child toward the exit. I was confused because the week before, a male staff member had told me that the pool closed at 10:00 p.m. She responded, “I have worked here for 25 years. That’s impossible. This is the rule!”
I understand that rules must be followed, but this is not the right way to treat guests. She needs to learn basic politeness, especially when working in the tourism industry.

Gostei de tudo. Funcionárias da limpeza muito prestáveis e simpáticas. Muito agradável

Nice apartments, easy to reach location close to beaches with decent restaurant considering the low season.

Twee badkamers en een prachtig groot balkon.
In de keuken was alle apparatuur aanwezig.
De bedden sliepen ook prima.

We stayed at this hotel for one week and really enjoyed the experience.
The restaurant was v good and food plentiful.
The indoor swimming pool , gym etc were of a good standard.
Attempted a swim in the sea but too rough at the time.
The walk from the hotel to Praia de
Rocha was very pleasant, with numerous cafe stops on route
We were a little scared by cockroaches entering the room via the bathroom
We were in room 11 b
My husband dealt with them efficiently.
Altogether a lovely break..
