As a suggestion only, it would have been good if the swimming pool was open longer, specially in the evening.

Good location, friendly cleaners, a lifeguard at the swimming pool, clean room and hotel. Very nice botanical garden. We had a great ocean view.
The staff hardly speaks English, so be prepared to speak Spanish. Breakfast was decent but difficult for celiac people. Gluten-free bread was often not available from the buffet (only cornflakes) but was there on request. Staff during breakfast not always that friendly, but worked really hard. They often forgot bring coffee or asking for supplementary breakfast options. Airconditioned rooms could not be adjusted. Temperature stayed at 26 degrees. Difficult to find a good sleep.
The hotel looks attractive from the outside, but my room was appallingly unhygienic, with cockroaches, bloodstains, hair, dirt and numerous live and dead insects. The staff refused to inspect the room or let me speak to the manager.
I have stayed in many hotels, but I have never encountered a room in such a filthy and unhygienic condition.
After checking in, I immediately noticed an extremely unpleasant smell. Because the lighting was so dim, I only realised how dirty the room really was when I inspected it using the flashlight on my phone. Around the toilet, I found bloodstains, ingrained dirt, hair and other bodily residue. There were hairs throughout the bathroom and bedroom, cockroaches, and numerous live and dead insects. Parts of the floor were covered with dust, debris, cobwebs, hair and dead insects, giving the impression that the room had not been properly cleaned for a very long time.
What made the experience even worse was the response from the hotel. The two receptionists refused to come to the room to see the problems for themselves. When I repeatedly asked to speak to the hotel manager, they refused that request as well. A room in this condition should never have been assigned to a guest.
Afterwards, I found reviews from several previous years describing similar hygiene problems. In several replies, the hotel stated that improvements would be made, yet my experience suggests that these problems have still not been properly resolved.

La ubicación. El tamaño de las habitaciones. La amabilidad del personal que es lo habitual en paradores. La calidad de la comida del restaurante. Las vistas son espectaculares. Está bien enclavado en la isla para poder visitarla entera.
Alguna luz no funcionaba en la habitación y no había luz general de techo o luz que se encendiera en la habitación con un interruptor general.

El horario de la piscina, siendo verano tiene un horario muy corto. Llegábamos de recorrer la isla con ganas de relajarnos un poco en la piscina pero nos fue imposible ya que cierra a las 6 pm
