A security hold of USD $100 per night will be authorized on the credit card provided at check in, and will be released at check-out if no charges are incurred during the stay. Any damage, smoking or pet fees incurred during the stay will be charged to the guest’s credit card.

Cash cannot be used for the security hold. Third party credit card authorization forms are required to be submitted 72 hours prior to arrival.

The Presidential Suite is for residential purposes only, and can sleep a total of 2 guests. A minimum damage deposit of $500 USD will be required. Prior approval from the General Manager is required for any in-room external entertainment, catered events or filming in the Presidential Suite (a Food and Beverage minimum will be added to the room rate). Any damages incurred during the stay will be charged to the guest’s credit card.

A completed rental agreement form for the Presidential Suite is required prior to check in.

Convenient Getaway
Pros:

The room was comfortable. I was upgraded from a Queen to King suite. I loved the convenience of having a restaurant, a lounge and PHD Terrace all in the same vicinity.

Cons:

I did not have a microwave in the room.

Excellent stay near Central Park
Pros:

We loved our interaction with Kofi at check in! He was friendly, welcoming, and made us excited for our hotel stay! Excellent customer service and truly should be promoted! The location was excellent only a couple of blocks from Central Park. We enjoyed the bar as well. We tried a few Signature Rickey cocktails that were very good. Very clean hotel and quiet.

We were robbed
Pros:

They charge me for the entire mini bar, we don't even drink. We did not take one thing out of there the charge was $250 and nobody is helping me to recoup that money. Both Hyatt and Booking.com are being impossible.never again

Cons:

Booking.com held our hands while this hotel manager picked our pockets and nobody is doing anything about it. This tourist trap is a rip off joint for out of towners. We are New Yorkers and we recognize it for what it is,

New York Dream Midtown never disappoints 😃

Location is great, staff are warm and welcoming! This was our 3rd time staying here and would again!

Construction going on outside during the night. Realise this is out of the hotels control and won’t be forever!
