Gorgeous landscaping & delightful secluded pool area. Small battery power light globes on patio tables. This inn felt like a French country inn. Very comforting. Breakfast is average & costs extra. Comfortable bed & quiet outside. Secured parking requires gate access & narrow parking spots. 45 minute drive to Avignon TGV station.

Mas de l’Oulivié is idyllic, a haven of tranquility, beauty, and peace near Les Baux-de-Provence, set among the stunning Alpilles. The hotel is beautiful — the public areas, the pool, the terrasse, the rooms, the landscaping. The staff are extraordinary — those at the front desk and those who serve guests for breakfast, lunch, drinks, and light fare – all staff are welcoming, gracious, friendly, and helpful. The rooms are beautifully decorated and immaculately cleaned and maintained. The owners work onsite and are also there to assist guests.

I love the ambiance and peacefulness of Mas de l’Oulivié and the comfort I feel when I am there. I also enjoy the excellent restaurants within 5-10 minutes from the hotel and the wonderful sites and other restaurants within an easy drive from the hotel. I highly recommend Mas de l’Oulivié. It is a perfect place to relax and from which to explore an historic, beautiful, and culturally rich area of Provence.

The pool and pool-side snacks were lovely. The breakfast felt heavenly each morning. The staff was attentive, kind and caring. Our room was lovely, the AC was strong, and the bathroom was well appointed. The property is lovely with flowers and olive trees.

Note, we did notice a number of bees drinking water from the pool - if you have allergies, just be aware - though they truly did not bother anyone or even seem to want our food.

Everyone was very kind and attentive with our 6 year old- truly all guests even said hello to her.

So many great things about this property!
-Beautiful grounds in a lovely country setting. The grounds are landscaped very nicely with flowers and plants everywhere, plus there are views of rocky spurs and olive orchards.
-We loved the pool.
-Super tranquil and quiet stay.
-The room was very comfortable with GREAT A/C. Our room was on the smaller side, but it was very nice.
-Friendly service at check-in and with any questions
-The service person at the pool bar was very nice. Did I mention there is a pool bar?! There's a restaurant and a lobby bar as well.
-VERY short drive to Les Baux
-short drive to good restaurants in nearby small towns

If there was one negative, it was that there were LOTS of very bees all over the pool and close to the water. We don't hate bees; We know they are vital pollinators. I don't advocate using poisons, but my wife is very sensitive to bee stings and this could have been problematic.

Overall, we were SO happy we stayed here. We wish we had stayed longer and would definitely stay again.

Dated room with pretty old furniture - some were painted to fix the day we got there (paint still wet, got on hands) Was at ‘lower’ price end so guess you get what you pay for (not cheap in my opinion). Was locked in toilet room with broken latch. Staff friendly, appetizers a little pricey, breakfast okay. Far from anything but that’s what maps are for. Car park in secure fenced area with secret code to get in, strange? Would not return.

We stayed at the property in early June and it was a wonderful stay. We had two deluxe rooms upstairs at the end of the hallway. The rooms were spotless, well maintained and had Provencal charm. The service was pleasant and friendly. We had breakfast every morning and the servers were a joy, so friendly to us Americans! The gardens and landscaping were beautiful. It was very hot outside and we enjoyed dipping in the cool water of the pool and lounging in the sun. There is a bar where you can get drinks or snacks to take to the pool area. One of the servers recommended a nearby small village for dinner, Maussane. Very cute and very Provencal, we enjoyed it. Also, we loved the location for exploring Uzes, Arles, Avignon, which are day trips. Overall, a great stay for us!

Beautiful dog friendly hotel set in an olive grove, near hill town Les Baux de Provence, and part of Alpilles National Park with miles of hiking! We did the short 40 min hike to the ancient hill town Les Baux de Provence with a castle ruins built into the rock and had lunch with a gorgeous view. We also enjoyed the nice French breakfast and light supper by the fire at the hotel. It is also only a 15 min drive to another beautiful Provence town Saint Remy. Famous for inspiring many Van Gogh paintings. We stayed in a large ground floor room that opened up to a private terrace, was great for our dog! The hotel staff were also very helpful and lovely! Highly recommend this hotel!

We have been staying at Le Mas de l’Oulivié many times. Always a pleasure to be back, beautiful pool and surroundings. Excellent location. Very friendly staff. Perfect stay on all fronts. We first came with our child and now with our small dog. We always feel very welcomed.

This was one of the nicest hotels I have stayed at. The service was lovely, food was delicious and the rooms were so gorgeous. But by far the stand out is the pool area - plenty of room to relax with mountain views in the distance, it was the perfect place to unwind and take in the region.

We had a wonderful stay at Mas de l'Oulivie. It is set in such a beautiful place and the hotel and staff make you feel at home. The three ladies in reception met our every request and Stephen went out of his way to make us comfortable. We left with wonderful memories of Provence.

Un accueil très sympa, une dispo que nous avons eu l'occasion de tester. Quant à la chambre elle-même rien à reprocher, grande et belle douche, lit très confortable. Juste envie d'y revenir.

Great hotel but unfortunately they stole my travel wallet . I forgot a large leather travel cas containing a lot of cash and three passports and two driver's licenses in the room safe. I called the hotel within 30 minutes and they said they would look in the room. I came back and was told they had found the passports but No Wallet!!!!! The fact that they treated us like idiots made it worse. I was forced to make a police report which wasted another hour!!!! They should have sent a manager with the cleaning staff to open the safe, as is thrprocedure everywhere else !!!!
