Pros:

You couldn't get a better location. 3 minute walk to the Cathedral. The hotel itself is very quiet. The bedroom and bathroom were spotless, and the bed was really comfortable.

Pros:

No puedo destacar nada.

Cons:

Ha sido un cúmulo. Encontrar tapones para los oídos en las mesitas de noche ya no es buena señal. Los colchones son tan duros que puedes dormir en el suelo más cómodo. Nuestra habitación tenía la cama debajo de la ventana, si vas a hacer eso asegúrate de que poner un velux o algo similar. Por la separación que había entre la ventana y la cortina mal colgada además, hacia que entrase la claridad como un foco en los ojos directamente, por lo menos poned el cabecero en la pared de enfrente. La calefacción es otra, entiendo que son instalaciones antiguas, pero no poder regular en cada habitación la temperatura hizo que pasasemos muchísima calor. Lo que no facilita el descanso. Las bañeras en vez de platos de ducha no me parecen accesibles. Y el precio del desayuno para lo que ofrecen es más que excesivo. El jamón serrano tenía color de llevar enfermo una semana, el queso fresco reponian trozos unipersonales. El zumo de brick, bollería industrial....y tener que estar yendo a recepción a pedir que repongan esto o lo otro, que no tienen a nadie pendiente de esto...en fin.
Lo último el parking, un convenio con el parking cercano sería maravilloso, yo dejé el coche desde el viernes por la tarde (18:00h) hasta las 11:00h del sábado....17,30€, cuando la media aquí va desde los 7,90 a los 13,00€ por día....bueno, mucho que mejorar. Desde luego no será una de mis opciones la próxima vez.

Precio calida muy recomendable
Pros:

Nos gustó que nos cambiaron a un hotel de la misma cadena Alda pero más céntrico, ya que el hotel Alda Algalia tenía problemas con la caldera. La estancia en el hotel Alda Avenida fue buena.
El desayuno muy completo incluido en el precio y el personal muy amable.

Cons:

Las camas están algo anticuadas, es lo único que no me gustó.

Definitely recommend
Pros:

Everything about this accommodation was perfect. But what made our stay memorable was Charo, she was receptionist, housekeeper, concierge, waitress, cook she seemed to do everything and always with kindness and with a huge smile. Whatever she is being paid she should get double. I work in hospitality as appreciate good service. Thank you

There was nothing we didn’t like. The breakfast was small but more than adequate.

Wonderful
Pros:

It was in the old town part of Santiago and a short walk to everything. The staff was super helpful and very nice (also spoke English fluently). The room was comfortable and had everything we needed.

Cons:

It was difficult to find at first when looking at Google Maps- use the navigation tool on the booking.com app.
