If you care about your peace of mind, don’t stay here—lack of support and access issues made it really stressful.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I had trouble entering my room because the access code didn’t work. After entering it five times, I was locked out of the system. There is no staff on site, and if I had known that, I would never have booked this hotel.

I tried calling, but no one answered. It was very stressful, especially since I arrived at 10 pm. Eventually, I managed to get into the room, but the experience completely ruined my overall impression of the stay.

There's a phone number to call the hotel and another one in the booking.com email. Both are difficult to reach!

WhatsApp is necessary for communication!

An app has to be downloaded, and you have to agree to the terms and conditions after you've already booked, and you can only cancel for a fee. Outrageous! Unfortunately, I'm not a lawyer.

The whole check-in process took about an hour.

Other guests had similar problems.

I'll never go back! A good location and friendly staff can't compensate for this. I only gave it 2 stars because of the friendly staff and the good location.

I've stayed there several times before, and my wife even more often.

It's amazing what greed can do to a place.

Pros:

La struttura si trova in una posizione strategica, vicino a metro e autobus e a 20 min a piedi dal centro. Ha anche un comodo supermercato davanti e tanti posti dove mangiare. La camera e il bagno sono grandi e spaziose. In camera si trovano anche un bollitore, caffè solubile, tè etc.

Cons:

L'unico appunto è migliorare un po' la pulizia della camera.

Je vais au Duke depuis 15 ans..celui ci a ete transformé cette année.. il. Y a plus de reception..les keycards fonctionnent mal. Il est totalement déshumanisé

Everything. No reception and it's killing me to ask and wait for help through the mobile. The first day i standed in front of my room door for 2 hours until finally i got help on mobile chatt with a new door code . Its was like impossible to get inside the room after i checked inn

The smart hotel ideea is not thd best

Warm & clean
Room keeping staff was great
No ramp for disabled clients towards the lift.

Cons:

Difficult & confusing communication about the room & hotel entry acces code (communication only in English and had to call multiple times to get the appropriate information).
Duvet to small for the room bed.
Heating difficult to use.
TV remote not working (had to ask the room keeping staff member to fix the issue (and ge was great).
Noisy fridge (had to be unplugged over night for a decent sleep).
The hot water took long to heat up due to the room being at the top floor (floor 6, room 601).
Noisy outside the window due to rain hitting the metal slab outside de window.
The lights at the room entrance not working and the rest, gave poor quality lighting.

Their smart hotel policy is to nag you on whatsapp to the the online checkin. I booked the room for my parents, they are older people who are not comfortable with online checking. Also, the code they give you for the door of the hotel and door of the room might not work (which happened to us) so you will be left calling the number on the door or writing them whatsapp messages. Luckily, after several attempts someone friendly answered and helped out. But this was very stressful for my parents.
This is the thrid time we use this hotel and unfortunatelly the last one, because of this "code for room" policy. Also, what happened to breakfast?
