Puikis poilsis Kaune.
Pros:

Not a pleasant experience.

The location; having 3 taxis booked for me, and a cup of proper cappuccino (see below)

Cons:

The hotel would better deserve two stars than four. On my arrival, I asked the person at reception to book me a taxi. She said that there was an excellent app (Bolt), implying that I could do it myself; but since I don't know Lithuanian, I regard having the hotel staff book a taxi for me a justifiable luxury in a 4-star hotel. To do the staff justice, on my remonstrating, they booked 3 taxi rides for me without complaint. I had two large, barely furnished, run-down-looking rooms. There were no bedside tables, the reading lamps flopped down, not being properly secured, and were anyway awkwardly placed between two shelves. The bathroom had an unpleasant smell. Nowadays I expect a hotel shower to be neatly sealed off with glass from the rest of the bathroom, and to entirely of metal. My shower was of the makeshift type, attached by a rubber or plastic pipe to the tap of a bath, and the flimsy curtains were all that prevented the water from pouring onto the floor--a point I did not fully appreciate until too late. (The resulting large pool of water remained through the night, not draining through the hole in the floor.) The woman overseeing breakfast consented with an ill grace to make me a proper cappuccino, even though the machine for making real espresso stood very nearby--again something I would not expect in a 4-star hotel.

Pros:

Very good location, near the main pedestrian street - Vilniaus gatvė where you can find restaurants, bars and cafes. If coming by car, it’s a perfect location as you can park A car in the hotel’s backyard but I recommend to check in early as the parking places are limited and fill up pretty quickly.

Cons:

The room and hotel itself was cozy but it needs a bit of renovation, carpets on the floors were stained and the room doors didn’t work properly.

Duży pokój zróżnicowane śniadanie

Cons:

Brak windy , do naszego pokoju trzeba było wnosić walizki przez wąskie 2 piętra, a walizki duże bo jechaliśmy dalej. Winda jest tylko do 4 tego piętra a my mieliśmy pokój na 6 :((
