Bit expensive, more modern than the other Paradors, but relaxing.
Pros:

This was our last stop before the ferry home, so only stayed one night. Did not see the surrounding area or town. facilities were good, and food eating in was reasonable. Bit pricey room rate.

Grand Parador close to Bilbao in the coutryside.
Pros:

Very comfortable stay, in large bedrooms with a good breakfast.

Cons:

Got a twin rather than double room.

Very friendly and pro service at the bar & restaurant!

Cons:

The pool area was not very inviting and the staff did not make an effort to dry the court after the rain. Both things would have been easily arranged!

Mooie lokatie, onpersoonlijk hotel.
Pros:

Ontbijt is prima.

Cons:

Service is minimaal zelfs voor parkeren moet je apart betalen op het eigen terrein

Rustig verblijf, maar gemengd gevoel qua dienstverlening
Pros:

Prima slaapkamer.. Fijn terras en gemeenschappelijke ruimten. De slaapkamer werd prima onderhouden en het was fijn dat er een restaurant ter plekke was.

Cons:

De badkamer was functioneel goed maar ietwat gedateerd. De afwerking liet hier en daar wat te wensen over ( kitranden, slecht -gevaarlijk stopcontact)

Het eten in het restaurant was vaak vlak. Het miste net wat finesse en past niet bij de ambiance die een parador wil uitstralen.

Bij vertrek werd niet geinformeerd of we het naar ons zin hadden gehad. Men maakte zich drukker om de rekening..

Pros:

We booked this last minute to be close to Bilbao for the ferry. Lovely location and building. Room was excellent. Lovely big window.
Nice pool area and very clean. Bar food was nice. Never stayed in a parador before so it was a nice treat for the last night in Spain, even though it was a bit more than we'd normally pay.

Cons:

Not much, although maybe being charged to park next to the building. The free parking was further down thr hill.
