Best Western Bucovina-club De Munte

We stayed in hotel for 4 days with the ocassion of the New Year's party. The hotel is good but the room are not so big. The furniture could be better, The bathroom has no good air flow system but is large and that is good. The breakfast was good and enough. But for the New Year's party the restaurant was too crowded, too many people for such space. The music was out loud and because of that we left the table after 4 hours. The same was in the next day with the Carnival party. The staff was attentive but not enough for a good service. Maybe we will come back another time but I am not so sure.

We visited this hotel with a large group of friends the past week-end. Welcomming at the reception is very friendly . The rooms are clean but small, but for a week-end this is acceptable. The bar and the restaurant were satisfactory, the dinner was exceptional as well as the breakfast-buffet . All personal is very friendly

It's the first and last time that we're going to complain about the behavior of the employees at the buffet restaurant at this Best Western. I want to mention that I have stayed at over 15 hotels part of this BW chain and nowhere have I seen such disrespect from the breakfast restaurant employees. Both the lady with glasses who was called the head of the restaurant and the gentlemen on yesterday's shift, moved us 3 times from the tables, to others that were dirty, not cleared or without cutlery on them because they were dedicated to other groups. This nasty behavior of disturbing the customer during the meal and then gossiping to his face and pointing the finger at him because he did not want to carry out their order. I didn't touch anything that I wanted to serve and for that I will contact the franchisor chain directly for a review along with the pictures from the non-existent SPA (empty jacuzzi), mess, the fact that for the extra services I received the tax invoice afterwards. insistences and many other aspects that I will detail directly. All of this could have stopped if your bespectacled employee at the breakfast buffet and co-worker the next day hadn't engaged in this behavior. To be avoided.

I stayed two nights in a single accommodation at this hotel. The room was almost exactly as pictured on their website. It is pretty typical of a chain hotel anywhere in the world. The room was immaculate, although the shower, even with the door closed properly, leaked. Have a second towel ready. Outlets were sufficient, one being above the bed in what I first though was a light switch. The breakfast buffet was plentiful.

The restaurant at this hotel is wonderful! We arrived late, less than an hour before the restaurant closed and we ate on site for convenience. We were so glad we did! Excellent home cooked food and desserts. The hotel is older and charming. Had a slight issue when we checked in because the front desk staff does not hav access to the Expedia bookings, apparently only the manager, so they could not confirm my booking. They did get us in a room, and just had me email all of the screenshots of our reservation to them to sort it in the morning. When we went down they had it all squared away so no issues. Just a heads up if you book close to your arrival on the evening. We would definitely stay again!

The room was smaller than what i ordered. From reception, I received a reason for that something like: "oh, it was an international booking so we do not have this in our platform. did you pay? Let me see how we could recover the money from the reservation, because, the booking is in their hotels chain ...."
Also, in the bathroom was a problem - i had to take care, after each shower, do not let the water to enter into the room.
The view of the room was great.

This is an old, dated hotel that should not be branded Best Western. The rooms are very dated and small. They claim to be a 3-star hotel but definitely is not. 2-star at most...I would not recommend this hotel if staying in the area. There are surely better options.

Everything was great.....we spend 2 nights here and really was a big surprice....
Very clean,very hot ,but in January this is a good think,and in the restaurant was just 'ok',i can't say great or delicios because: --in our first breakfast we didn't have many thinks to choose
--and is very expensive

We spent two nights at this BW as part of our Romania tour package. The hotel is failry large and apparently designed to cater for larger groups. The rooms were very clean and so were the bathrooms. We appreciated the covid prevention measures being observed all throughout the hotel. Our operator got us upgraded to the upper floor rooms with balcony which afforded spectacular views of the surrounding hilly area. Both dinners in the hotel were very good. Perhaps a large selection of red wine would be good. All in all, a very pleasant stay.

Was the biggest disappointment from our vacation . In this pandemic crises,cleaning is very important and here our room look like was not clean for more then a month.
Location is one of the best from the area.

Goog breakfast, because the curent situation, Covid-19 related, it is served only on the terrace or in the room. So if it is cold or raining it will be a small problem.

Les murs sont en cartons. Les bruits des chambres voisines et corridors sont constants. Le spa est malpropre et manque de surveillance.

Perfetto per visitare i monasteri della bucovina meridionale. Stanze comode, personale gentile che spesso parla italiano. Parcheggio buono. Possibilità di cenare a prezzi discreti direttamente nel ristorante dell'hotel. Colazione migliorabile, un terrificante odore di aglio proveniente dalla parte salata.

The + side: The chidren has a play room and he liked it. The hotel is in the center and easy to find' with a nice view to the squre. The crew was reasponsable and willing.
The - side; A weak Wן-Fi and no aircondition.

Next to a busy noisy roundabout. Room was dark and dinghy. Needs an update. Staff did try their best. Not enough plugs in the room. We could hear music from downstairs the 2 nights we were there and we were on the 6th flr. Dogs barking, roosters crowing and church bells ringing in the morning. Not sure about the town either. It's not a very pretty town and there weren't many eating places around. Good as a base for exploring the painted monasteries of Bucovina.
