The property was clean, fun decor, a little dark- but in a cozy way. The location is top notch. As a solo female traveler I wanted somewhere that had close proximity to the train station so that I wouldn’t have a long walk burdened with luggage. It couldn’t have been easier. I was able to be all over London with ease. The staff was delightful and accommodating. The bathroom and minibar were very well stocked. Despite being in a super busy area the room was surprisingly quiet. It’s a small hotel, so no long treks to your room. Just so easy!
The only miss for me was that I wish there were a microwave in the room or available. I had a heat pack I would have liked to use, as well as ability to eat a quick hot meal in the room.
Huge and very well appointed room, free food in room. Great bathroom and good views from the windows
There was a lot of traffic noise making it difficult to sleep. Triple glazing would have been very much appreciated!
Lovely location, staff very helpful, restaurant excellent, lovely Italian meal, it cheap but excellent
The location, the staff, the cleanliness, the breakfast--all great.
My first room (Floor 1) was a bit loud. I mentioned that & when I returned for my 2nd stay, they had taken note & gave me a room in a quieter location. Excellent attention to detail.
Ideal location for the Eurostar. We arrived at lunchtime and we were offered an upgrade and given immediate access to the room, which we really appreciated.
All the staff were very cheerful and helpful throughout our stay.
Got Upgraded to a junior suite. Think it was an accessibility room given the layout of the bathroom and the red chords around. Nonetheless it had a sofa area, minibar with snacks which were included. Arrival time was near 1am so didnt really get to enjoy but appreciated the space for sure. Pricey overall but you are literally across the road from the station and thats what I needed for the morning. Welcoming reception staff.
Corridor noise from noisy people leaving really early is not great. Couldnt find any slippers. Nowhere in the bathroom to put toiletries. Homeless folks near the main road side of the hotel so you need to go past them to go round the corner to get to the hotel entrance late at night. Slightly apprehensive about that but was ok in the end.
* The shower was incredible - rain shower plus a regular showerhead, with buttons to toggle each.
* Everything was very clean and tidy.
* The staff were super friendly. They gave us lots of still water to refill and even some mini-bottles for our way to the airport.
* The location is terrific - right across one of the main transportation hubs of London and easily accessible to anywhere, namely Luton Airport.
* The rooms were (intentionally?) pretty dark even with all lights turned on.
* Sadly, and it's not the hotel's fault, there are many homeless people around the area.
