Ilkbal Deluxe Hotel & Spa

We stay at this hotel 6 nights and our room didnt look like photos on page where we booked this hotel room. There was dirty toilet and wasnt even balcon like page told us. Days when we was at this hotel they only take trash and change towels and didnt clean all room at all

Ilkbal Hotel is right in the middle of wholesale bazar. Steps away from tram and all historical sites you want to see when visiting Istanbul. Staff are all very professional friendly and super fast in providing quality service. Sauna that i used was lovely. Breakfast even tho the same options every day, it has all needed to start the day right and i loved how courteous friendly and wonderful restaurant staff were. I really enjoyed my time in Ilkbal hotel and highly recommend this hotel.

Good location. Beautiful terrace overlooking the city. However, the staff at the desk was unhelpful; the sheets were never changed (in 8 nights) or the room cleaned. Cockroaches in the bathroom.

we enjoyed our stay at this hotel nd the location is good.the staff were friendly nd helpfull with the exception of two guys both named erol who were on night duty on the 14th december.dey were very arrogant nd have no idea of how to treat the hotel guest. this was very dissapointing to me.

Dårlig hotel personal var ikke høflig, ikke profesjonel, vi fikk ikke rommet vi har betalt for med utsikt mot byen, dårlig hygiene. Det eneste bra med hotellet er beliggenhet

Själva rummet var helt ok, bodde i 506, med en liten fransk balkong... Lobbyn luktade rök och ett mediokert intryck. De höll på att renovera flera rum och korridorerna under vår vistelse. Frukosten var riktigt dålig och väldigt mkt folk som knuffades och trängdes.. Kaffet var gott dock och en väldigt trevlig frukostvärdinna.
Spa avdelningen var ett skämt- de ville ha 200 dollar för en skrubb och tvätt!! Fick ner det till 150 lira( 13 dollar)
I detta området finns knappt några resturanger, och enbart en som serverar alkohol...resten e shopping shopping shopping.... Bo inte i detta området...mkt skumma ensamma män på kvällarna som söker kontakt..

Уютный чистый номер, хороший завтра, отличный вид из окон ресторана на Мраморное море. Приветливый и деловой персонал на стойке регистрации. Есть бесплатная камера хранения. Лично для меня Матрас на кровати слишком мягкий, но это дело вкуса. Удачное расположение отеля.

The rooms are not clean.

Nous avons été très mal accueilli par le réceptionniste Il répondait à peine à nos questions nous avons réservé une chambre familiale on s’est retrouvé dans une toute petite chambre lors de ma réservation j’avais demandé un lit bébé ils ont mis deux jours pour me le ramener! Et le pire c’est qu’il était cassé, il ne sont pas du tout professionnel je déconseille totalement cette hôtel Et en plus de tout ça il est vraiment mal placé il est loin de la rue Principal pour y accéder il y a une très longue pente ce n’est vraiment pas pratique avec des enfants en bas âge hôtel a fuir!!!!

c'est un bon hotel dans l'ensemble, personnel très aimable. sauna, piscine et hammam propre. je suis très contente du sejour dans cet hôtel

Excelent all in Hotel

Very convenient for shopping and sightseeing also close to some excellent hotels.the down side was the hotel was dry

When we arrived, the receptionist was rude and lacked customer skills. At time of checking in we were given a twin bed room even though we had a booking for a double, and he decided to keep our passports without explaining he required them to photocopy. The room was dirty, dust everywhere on floors and the bathroom was very small, when we complained we were told he cant do anything but join the twin beds to make it into a double. In the morning we spoke with another receptionist who changed our room to a more bigger and cleaner one.

The rooms dont have kettle/tea/coffee/iron/ironing board which are basics. The breakfast menu is very limited buffet and the pictures on their website dont look anything in reality, the breakfast staff are terrible and making rapport with the guests

I would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone, you can spend your money better at another hotel as there are many near by.

The hotel location was ideal for us. Just me and my wife so it was easy for us to walk to the tram stop at laleli and also to the yenkapi metro station. It was nice to be in the middle of all the hustle and bustle so we can see how the locals go about their day.

The hotel itself wasn’t good. Housekeeping was just a change of bins, bedding wasn’t changed, towels only changed if we didn’t fold them, floor wasn’t swept. The woman doing the cleaning was nice though.

Breakfast was ok. Had a nice view as it was on the eighth floor. It gets VERY busy after 9, so try to go about 8.30. Menu didn’t change the whole week we were there.

The gym manager was very rude! Didn’t give us any inkling that were rules for going into the pool. I couldn’t use the gym without feeling like I was doing something wrong. He gave us a small tour about the services but didn’t tell us that we need caps for the pool, they don’t supply towels etc.

Because we were out the majority of the day, we didn’t stay at the hotel that much, but due to the treatment of the gym manager, the short time we were at the hotel, was made uncomfortable.

Excellent services we received from check in to check out. Very forthcoming and helpful staff, clean room, big breakfast banquet, and that are more than enough. We will come back to stay here again.

Was a bit worried after reading reviews but on arrival room upgraded. Reception staff very helpful.Good size room with lovely shower. Swimming pool small and needed swimming hat which cost 20 lira. Ham man relaxing although whole area could do with a clean. Breakfast plentiful - good views over city.

The hotel lobby is ok
The room we had was filthy.
Booked in for three days. But checked out after first night.
Arrived to find the room at the end of a dark corridor.
The corridor light wasn't working the room was filthy.
The toilet bin was full.
There was nothing appealing about the room.
Wife and kids hated it.
The hotel photos are misleading.
There are no bath tubs in the hotel, despite some photos.
I AM AFRAID I CAN'T GIVE IT A PLUS FOR ANYTHING.

My advice:AVOID IT.

Clean room nice breakfast on the roof and near to everything staff was good takes for everything
