So close to everything. 5 minutes to the Brandenburg Gate, The Tours, The Tourist Information and a host of restaurants and Shops, Memorial sites, subways, busses, and Trams. This could not have been a more convenient location for the price. A complete steal.

Cons:

All of it. And a really cheap breakfast which was delicious.

Decent property but TERRIBLE customer service via whatsapp/chat. Like actively misleading.

Cons:

The customer service team was worse then unhelpful - they were actively misleading me on how to check in and being extremely disrespectful. I think it was a disconnect between Booking.com and the actual property management, but my early check in was not honored as selected and I had to walk around the Berlin streets for 2 hours with my luggage to try to find any other accommodation before eventually resting on the ground in front of this hotel for hours until I was let in.

parę metrów od okien pokoju linia kolejki, kurs co parę minut, zatyczki do uszu nie pomagają, nawet pod prysznicem czuć wstrząsy, trudno zamknąć okna bo pokój na poddaszu, w hotelu niewielu Gości, szkoda, że nie dostaliśmy pokoju od drugiej strony budynku

Das ARTE Luise war mal charmant, jetzt wirkt es einfach nur noch verlassen. Rein digital mag ja mitunter praktisch sein, aber die leeegeräumte, menschenleere Lobby wirkt alles andere als einladend. Ich hatte mein Handy im Zimmer vergessen, man kommt aber nur noch mit Code (den ich auf dem Handy hatte aber nicht auswendig gelernt..) ins Zimmer. Da kein Personal mehr im Haus ist, musste ich einen anderen Gast bitten, ihr Handy zu benutzen für einen telefonischen Kontakt zum Vermieter. Meine Suite war zwar geräumig und sauber, die altertümlichen Möbel entsprachen aber nicht meinem Geschmack. Das Haus ist sehr hellhörig, und klar, es ist alt, aber es gibt eben keine Klimaanlage, so dass inzwischen die Nachteile gegenüber dem „alten“ Charme überwiegen. Ich werde es nicht mehr buchen.
