Un peu loin du centre ville, cet hôtel donne accès à la mer. Confortable, il possède un piscine un peu petite toutefois. Excellent restaurant.

Cadre enchanteur au bord de l’eau et piscine dans la verdure. Très calme, magnifique !

Agréable séjour à l’allamanda. Chambre propre et spacieuse. Le personnel est agréable et disponible.
Le restaurant à côté est très pratique. Petits-déjeuners convenables.
Seul bémol, très peu taxis pour aller en ville car très peu de passage devant l’hotel...souvent obligé d’y aller à pied! (10mn pour rejoindre le centre)

We stayed 1 night in here. The room was basic and comfortable but not sure it is worth the price. The swimming pool and the restaurant have amazing views and the restaurant staff was nice. Food is ok. Breakfast is huge. Reception staff could smile more and be more welcoming. Too stressed out about the payments of the bills. That did not give a good lasting impression.

Vi anlände sent 2300. Trots att restaurang och allt var stängt så ordnade de genast fram lite öl vilket satt bra efter en fasansfull resa på 12 timmar. Vi åt en stek på restaurangen som var ok. Trevlig utsikt över havet från restaurangen. En liten strand nedanför .

If you are ever in the northern Madagascar - Diego Suarez (Antsiranana) region to be specific, be sure to check out Allamanda. We just finished a week of visiting Diego and all days we were up there we stayed at Allamanda. Initially we had planned to spend the last night at another bigger hotel so we could indulge but when we got there there was no electricity in Diego, a hotel without AC is like a furnace. The hotel had to evacuate everyone and we ended up again at Allamanda and we couldn't be any happier! We had a premium room which has a small kitchenette, spacious living room, ocean front view, mini bar and kettle for tea or coffee. Water in Diego can be scarce as well as electricity. While the whole city was out of power, Allamanda's backup generator is good enough to power all houses. We didn't feel like there was no power. At the other hotel, while the had a generator, it couldn't power up even their kitchen so the milkshakes we'd been dreaming off on such a sunny day, we couldn't get them. We are already planning to come back to Allamanda for a big anniversary celebration. Did I mention they also have a great pool? or you can snorkel in the ocean! Staff were very respectful and helpful! We felt safe even at night! One thing to be aware of is that bajaj (Tuc Tuc) is a 1000Ar while everywhere else in town in 500Ar per person! Which was not bad at all even at night!

Very nice hotel. Good price, comfortable room and lovely restaurant attached. Slightly out of town down a dark road - but only a 5 minute walk. Would recommend.

Beautiful hotel, excellent rooms with everything you need. Lovely view from balcony. Great pool and lovely pier to watch the sunset from.

I arrived at this hotel, feeling stressed out, due to the flight delay and lost baggage by Air Madagascar. However, this hotel was so good, and I felt alive again in a relaxed manner. The ocean view was great, needless to say the overall great quality of the hotel such as cleanness, spaciousness, etc.

Lovely hotel with great views. The superior rooms are large and bright. Maintenance however may be an issue: the AC in our 2 rooms was not working. There were no mosquito nets in one room and a single net for a double bed in the other (and there were quite a few mosquitoes especially as we had to leave the doors and windows open to try to cool the room). The safe did not work in one room. The restaurant is very nice and the food quite good but the service is very slow: get ready to wait 30 to 40 minutes for your eggs in the morning

Nice location within walking distance to the business district in Diego. Restaurant has a lovely sitting area by the bay,not expensive. Service was good.The grilled fish was great.

I was very comfortable at Allamanda Hotel. The air conditioning was not super strong but it wasn't very hot at night so it was fine. The food at the restaurant was also very good and not too expensive.
