We had many amazing experiences in Morocco, sadly Riad Zahra was not one of them!
Pros:

The property is located a couple of minutes from the beach, it is a 20 minute walk to the Medina.
Breakfast was basic but decent. The pool is lovely and kept very clean.

Cons:

We were offered a room on the ground floor, window facing the restaurant area, we asked for a different room and were offered the room next door! It did not feel very private, and it was impossible to open the window despite there being no AC!! This made it extremely stifling in the evenings, we asked for a fan but were refused. We had booked well in advance so unsure why we were given the ground floor room. The hotel is also extremely dated and in need of an upgrade, the room didn’t feel clean and the small details such as the dustbin in our room being broken, lack of hairdryer, is not something expected of a 3-4 star establishment. The rooms were also quite dark, particularly the bathroom and shower. I had to leave the bathroom door open when showering as it was difficult to see, which was difficult as the bathroom was facing the ground floor window with no privacy!!

Relax al mare
Pros:

Piscina grande. Stanza quadrupla ampia e pulita con pulizie giornaliere. Ottima e abbondante colazione servita a bordo piscina. 20 minuti a piedi dalla Medina, pochi passi dalla spiaggia

Pros:

The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming and especially the owners.
The pool was large, deep and very clean.

Essaouira est magnifique mais attention, ne confondez pas KIT SURF et SURF, cela change tout.
Pros:

Au niveau de la piscine, agréable mais attention au VENT !
Pour la plage, on m'avait vendu que c'était du pur surf, donc des grosses vagues mais au final, c'est du KIT SURF qui se pratique avec un vent de malade.
Bref, nous n'avons pas pu profiter de la plage.
Sinon ESSAOUIRA est magnifique.

Cons:

Au niveau du petit déjeuner, vu le prix de la location de la chambre, c'est bon mais on reste sur notre faim car pas de possiblité de se resservir.
La chambre : gros souci, chambre N°6 à fuir car la fenêtre donne face à la terrasse du restaurant et une partie de la piscine. Cette terrasse du restaurant est équipée d'un abri soleil, ce qui veut dire qu'il n'y a pas de lumière dans la chambre, c'est très désagréable et cette chambre ne devrait pas être louée.

L'emplacement de l'hôtel

Les équipements sont très mediocres
Pas de volets aux fenêtres pas de rideaux occultants , la salle de bain est très sombre contrairement à la chambre à coucher qui est baignée de lumière dès que le soleil se lève
Pas de clim et les lits/matelas dans un état déplorables
Notre lit conjugal avait un matelas bien plus grand que le sommier donc le matelas s affaissait d un côté. Le matelas était de
très mauvaise qualité.
Mauvaise expérience malgré les avis qui sont plutôt positifs nous sommes très déçus

Una estancia fabulosa
Pros:

Riad con un personal muy atento, desayuno muy completo y piscina acogedora. Ubicado a 5 minutos de la playa y 20 minutos de la medina andando por el paseo marítimo. Sin duda para repetir.

Perfecto para una estancia en familia.

La piscina y la atención del personal.. En un paseo de 15 mins estás en La Medina y a 5mins de la playa. Comer en su restaurante merece mucho la pena

Un bonito riad, junto a la playa, con una excelente restaurante.
Pros:

Pasamos cuatro noches en el riad. Excelente el trato y la amabilidad de Xavier su dueño. Muy bueno el desayuno. Muy destacable la calidad del restaurante, por la preparación de los platos y por la calidad del producto. Comimos en varios restaurantes de Essaouira y también pescado en el puerto y podemos decir que los tres almuerzos que hicimos en el restaurante del riad nos sorprendieron mucho, sin duda las mejores comidas que hicimos en Essaouira.

Cons:

La única pega que puedo poner es el estado del mobiliario del riad, sobre todo en la piscina, que necesita una renovación.

Mi ha piaciuto la piscina era bella, grande e pulita e poi i ragazze che erano nel reception erano gentilissime

Non mi è piaciuto tanto la camera anche il bagno, perché non c’è il bidet noi in Italia siamo abituati averlo anche la colazione Non c’è tanta scelta. Ti portano loro quello che vogliono e basta.
