Room was great arrived later so didn't try the food but had a drink in the bar and outside beer garden. Great old world feel to the hotel.

The rooms fire door, while understandably very necessary, was quite hard to open.
We dined in the restaurant and I didn’t like the 12.5 percent service fee. We chose to have breakfast elsewhere due to this.

Very clean spacious room, it had a luxurious feel. There was a fan in the room, as well as a coffee machine that was amazing.
The noise level outside was quite high as it’s on the high street. It’s not really the properties fault but if you’re a light sleeper you may struggle to get uninterrupted sleep. The floorboards are quite creaky as well, so you can hear other rooms walking around quite often.

We stayed at The Swan hotel for the night as we were going to see Richard 111 at the theatre. It is in the middle of Stafford and has parking on site. We had a meal before the theatre with friends and we all enjoyed the food. The staff were very helpful and the room was very comfortable.
Location was great and room was lovely
Very hot day and windows were a struggle to open even a crack.
