Pros:

Its location. Very clean. Lovely white towels. Great linen. Fantastic breakfast.

Cons:

I really thought paying for parking on the property was pushing it. At an exchange rate of 22 to the pound it was exorbitant when the accommodation was already costing a great deal. The garden view was a view onto weeds and bricks that needed a good sweep. The first thing to hit us was the musty smell. Not having basic toiletries - again at the cost. The bed springs were horrible creaking and digging into us.

Reliable but Deteriorating Slightly
Pros:

The Hotel is invariably welcoming and well-presented. The rooms are comfortable - with some generously proportioned.

Cons:

Breakfast, on this visit, was over-stretched and a little chaotic. I’m personally not a fan of guest dogs being encouraged in the breakfast room - especially when it is busy and over-stretched.

Lovely great staff especially the girl whose sister is the chef didn’t catch her name but she was magnificent help.
Pros:

The staff the room enough space for 2 and a dog and on ground floor easy access for the dog to go out.

Cons:

Extra charge for parking.. parking should be included. The extra charge for the dog however was acceptable.

Pros:

B+B York - 1 notte

Struttura. Più grande di quanto ci si aspetti da un B&B: oltre all'edificio principale, un paio di dépendance a disposizione degli ospiti.

Parcheggio. Ampio per essere un B&B (seppur limitato nei posti), molto apprezzato. Viene fornito anche un pass da esporre sul cruscotto per l'identificazione.

Colazione — il vero punto di forza. Qualità notevole, con piatti preparati al momento: si percepisce una vera cucina dietro le quinte. Grandi complimenti allo chef.

Wi-Fi: una bomba!

Camera. Carina, nel complesso più che adeguata per la categoria.

In sintesi: un B&B che sorprende in positivo, soprattutto per l'esperienza a colazione, con qualche limite di spazio nei momenti di punta.

Cons:

La consumazione risulta un po' frettolosa, complice una sala colazioni non particolarmente grande.

Pros:

Very quiet location/street, close to town.

Cons:

Small sower, slow shower pressure, dirty remote, uncomfortable bed (too soft for me), very noisy when people would walk on the corridor, poorly breakfast and also full all the time we wanted to eat in the morning. I just had bfast once...you should either extend the time for breakfast or make the guests book a time slot. Would not recommand this place I'm afraid...

Frühstück sehr gut, allerdings kein salziger Aufschnitt

Pros:

The staff were lovely and helpful.
Breakfast amazing with lots of choice. Catered for Gluten Free too.
10min walk to York Minster, Shambles and shops and pubs.

Cons:

The sink was missing the plug hole guard. Lost an earing. Not valuable in cost but valuable for sentimental reasons. The handy man tried to retrieve it but couldn't. He mentioned managing to get other items before... so why wasn't there a plug hole guard fitted?
The rooms we had were in a cottage. Lovely and cosy rooms ideal when away with friends but both bathrooms had a drain smell.

Ok for one night
Pros:

Location is quiet.

Cons:

Shower is very weak. Churchill around the corner was cheaper and offers more comfort! The staff were warm and hospitable but the stay was sadly disappointing.
