Quality breakfast and a good selection from the cooked breakfast menu, cereal selection and juices, nothing was too much trouble for the waiting staff

Cons:

Whilst we were given a larger room on arrival we appreciated that the room was still small and the mattress, pillows and duvet were quite thin and poor quality. Plastic lamps bit naff and the curtains needed rethreaded on some of the hooks. The shower head needs a treatment of limescale remover and overall cleanliness lacked attention to detail, the wardrobe was full of dust at top and inside the drawer

Easy check in, easy to find, friendly staff, rooms were clean and no clutter. Late night fob entry was also a good idea.

Cons:

Doesn't seem to make sense to need to pay £15 when you book through booking.com but when you book directly its free parking. Its the same room, same car park.

Pros:

Staff were excellent, very helpful throughout the stay. The B&B is well presented and looks like it is cared for. Location is brilliant, just a short walk down Bootham to the city centre

Pros:

Excellent breakfast, well organised to cope with a busy roomful. Room was sparklingly clean. Staff very welcoming.

Cons:

The duvet was very little wider than the bed, so skill was needed to keep under it all night.
