Really fun, quality and friendly place to stay whilst skiing
Pros:

Staff were amazing and so friendly. Breakfast and eating area was so cozy and friendly each morning with newspapers there. It’s very close to Alpine Express train stop (but you don’t hear or see it). If you want a hotel with an alive and cozy “vibe” to stay in during the ski season, this is it.

Ich habe fünf Nächte im Hotel Kernen verbracht und kann ehrlich sagen: Selten habe ich mich in einem Hotel so willkommen und gleichzeitig so zuhause gefühlt.

Schon die Lage ist kaum zu übertreffen. Das Hotel liegt perfekt – direkt am Skigebiet und gleichzeitig unmittelbar am Bahnhof. Für mich bedeutete das: morgens entspannt frühstücken und wenige Minuten später schon auf dem Weg zur Piste sein, ohne Stress oder lange Wege. Auch die An- und Abreise ist dadurch unglaublich komfortabel.

Was diesen Aufenthalt jedoch wirklich besonders gemacht hat, sind die Menschen im Hotel. Das gesamte Personal ist außergewöhnlich freundlich, herzlich und aufmerksam. Besonders die Chefrezeptionistin hat mich mit ihrer Professionalität, Freundlichkeit und echten Gastfreundschaft beeindruckt. Man merkt sofort, dass hier nicht nur gearbeitet wird, sondern dass Gäste wirklich willkommen sind.

Auch der Service im Restaurant verdient ein großes Kompliment. Ich wurde jeden Abend aufmerksam und sehr freundlich betreut, immer mit einem Lächeln und einer angenehmen, persönlichen Note. Dadurch das ich alleine gereist bin, dufte ich an der Bar essen und trinken, und schon nach dem ersten Abend hielt man mir diesen Platz frei. Dazu kommt eine wirklich hervorragende Küche – qualitativ hochwertig, geschmacklich ausgezeichnet und nach einem Skitag genau das, was man sich wünscht. Jeder Abend war kulinarisch ein Highlight.
Und die Sonnenterrasse außen bietet einen unfassbaren Ausblick auf das wunderschöne Alpenpanorama. Ich kann jedem nur empfehlen dort mittags mal Platz zu nehmen und ein leckeres Käsefondue, aus Käse von der Molkerei direkt gegenüber, zu essen oder einfach nur etwas zu trinken und den Moment zu genießen.

Eine besondere Rolle spielt mMn auch der Inhaber selbst: Bruno Kernen, ehemaliger Skiprofi, scheint stets präsent zu sein. Täglich wurde ich persönlich freundlich begrüßt, und er erkundigte sich ehrlich nach dem Wohlbefinden all seiner Gäste.

Nowhere on your site was there a mention of half board(breakfast and dinner). In the interest of full transparency this service must be mentioned. You are now forcing me to go to the hotel website to do further research. Once there I realize that the hotel rate is less than the booking.com rate. As a result you lose your commission and I save money plus I get half board, if available,again saving money. The half board omission needs to be rectified.
