The view from the room was superb and the staff were very very helpful .
Cons:

After 8 pm the lift was closed . Our room was right on top . Was difficult at times .

Tolle Lage des Hotels, direkter Blick auf die Isola Bella, ein Traum .

Cons:

Etwas hektisch beim Gepäck ausladen auf der Strasse, aber der Parkplatz ist ca 300m weiter weg und sicher.

Pay for the view and stay for the people! Otherwise, not a comfortable stay!
Pros:

The view is incredible and absolutely the reason to book Mendolia Hotel! We also enjoyed paying 10 extra euros for the luxury of having breakfast on the terrace! The staff were extremely friendly and very nice!

Cons:

The accommodation was very small and not the room we thought we had booked. The bed was also not super comfortable.

Pros:

Die Aussicht von der Terrasse ist sehr schön, Blick über das Meer und die Bucht mit Isola bella. Das Personal ist freundlich. Die Straße vor dem Hotel ist oft recht stark benutzt und dann laut, die Fenster sind aber ganz gut isoliert.

Cons:

Der Parkplatz ist nicht beim Hotel sondern etwa 10 Minuten zu Fuß auf einem öffentlichen Parkplatz. Vor dem Hotel stehen zu bleiben ist schwierig bis fast unmöglich bei starkem Verkehr.

Great views and a clean hotel, but some important services and information were misleading.
Pros:

The hotel was clean and well maintained. The beds were comfortable enough for a short stay. The highlight was definitely the balcony with the beautiful view of Isola Bella – absolutely stunning and worth it.

Cons:

The parking situation was quite difficult. There is only a public parking area nearby, which has to be paid and does not feel very secure. It was also disappointing that the hotel was more expensive on Booking compared to their own website, and breakfast had to be paid extra, while it is included when booking directly. Additionally, the hotel advertises a private beach, but during our stay it was not set up.

Don’t stay here - it’s terrible!

The rooms are in a terrible state and don’t qualify as a 3 star hotel. When we got to our room - we could not believe the condition - chipped and old furniture and bed/bedding was terrible as well the condition of the bathroom - more like a 2star or less in my view. Also the view was not as per the pictures. We called the 24 hour line and indicated we would like to leave even though it was 10pm and whether they would give us a refund. Mr Mendolia (who we spoke to) indicated we could leave and that they would give us a refund. We fortunately managed to find another better hotel that night and the next day when we called them - they refused to honor what he said and give us the refund - poor customer service but even worse was the condition of the hotel. Don’t believe the pictures and frankly I doubt all the positive reviews now. we stayed at another place in Palermo the days before and it was great and as advertised - so didn’t expect this condition of hotel on Booking.com

Die Aussicht ist wie auf den Bildern, traumhaft! Die Zimmer waren gepflegt und super sauber. Das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Cons:

Die Lage des Hotels ist toll, es liegt jedoch direkt an einer viel befahrenen Straße.
