Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut👍
Cons:

Ich finde bei einem so hochwertigen Hotel hätten frische Blumen in den Vasen alles aufgewertet, als verstaubte Trockenblumen und das im Blumenland Holland ist enttäuschend. Ich habe mir das Hotel als Inhaberin eines Reisebüros ausgesucht und war etwas enttäuscht, dass man darauf keinen Wert legte. Ich möchte das Hotel meinen Kunden weiterempfehlen

Wir haben das Grand Hotel Karel für unseren Konzerttrip nach Amsterdam gebucht und würden uns jederzeit wieder dafür entscheiden. Die Lage ist einfach hervorragend – mitten in Utrecht, sodass man die Altstadt, die Grachten, Restaurants und Cafés bequem zu Fuß erreichen kann.

Ein echtes Highlight ist der wunderschöne Hotelgarten. Mitten im Zentrum ist er eine kleine grüne Oase, in der man wunderbar zur Ruhe kommen kann.

Unser Zimmer war modern, stilvoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Auch das gesamte Personal haben wir als freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit erlebt.

Das Frühstück im Hotel haben wir nicht genutzt, da es direkt an den Grachten viele gemütliche Cafés gibt, die für uns preislich attraktiver waren und einen ganz besonderen Charme bieten.

Insgesamt ein tolles Hotel mit perfekter Lage, schönen Zimmern und einer angenehmen Atmosphäre. Eine klare Empfehlung für alle, die Utrecht erkunden oder einen Ausflug nach Amsterdam planen.

Nice place but guests could be thought of more to justify the price.
Pros:

The room was well appointed, but you can't really sit on the balcony and the room was very dark. There were no extras available for free in the room; everything had a price. The only free thing was the coffee and milk. One good thing was the wellness space; it is not manned and although it is quite small it does have a sauna and pool. On a busy day though it would be overwhelmed.

Cons:

The restaurants couldn't be used on site; they were short staffed and people waited for ridiculous times. We gave up.

The Karel V is a wonderful place to stay with lovely accommodations and centrally located.
Pros:

Upon arrival we were notified that we had been upgraded to the 4th flr in the main building and the accommodations upon entry were amazing. Spacious, comfortable, and lovely bathroom. The staff were as friendly as could be always at the ready with a suggestion for dinner or whatever adventure type we were seeking. The locations was perfect for accessing town as well as the railway station.

Cons:

There was nothing we did not like or would recommend to do better. Our expectations were met or exceeded in each category.
