Oliva Nova Beach & Golf Hotel

We went to the reception and asked for available rooms. They told us to check the website or booking.com….
When we told the receptionist that we stayed in the hotel in February, he just looked uninterested and didn’t even check his system.
So we tried booking.com but they only had rooms with 2 x 1 person bed available.
So we asked of it was possible to change the beds. Answer: you have to ask this 1 day in advance. So we went to another hotel.
No effort, no money…

Lovely hotel, great location for the beach. Staff were lovely, room was clean and comfortable.

No one seemed overly friendly or interested in telling us about dining or that the pool was not available. Beach bar was not open either day. End of season I guess!

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à l'hôtel.
Le personnel est souriant et à l'écoute, la piscine est grande et bien aménagée, les espaces verts sont bien entretenus.
Il y a plusieurs options de restauration que ce soit dans l'hôtel ou en dehors.
Les petits déjeuners sont variés et les produits de bonne qualité.
Les chambres sont spacieuses et bien équipées.

L'accès à la plage est un petit peu compliqué à cause des dunes mais l'endroit est très calme et naturel

Für einen Singelausflug und eine Auszeit von ein paar Tagen wunderbar. Trotz vieler Gäste und der Grösse verteilt es sich gut, so dass man nicht das Gefühl hat es sei überfüllt. Normales Zimmer mit Meerblick war schön, gross und sehr sauber. Restaurant abends/mittags kann ich nicht beurteilen, da ich mit Freunden unterwegs war. Der Strand war trotz Hochsaison nicht überfüllt, was sehr angenehm war.

Girlfiend & I just back from 5 night B&B stay at Oliva Nova to attend a family wedding in nearby Pego. Overall a positive Hotel experience, reasonably good breakfast & particularly enjoyed easy access to beautiful beach. But am compelled to comment on Hotel Staff attitude which was definitely not customer focussed, at times passive, and in one instance bordering on aggressive. I've stayed in hotels across Europe, Asia & Americas and am sure I wasn't imagining this.

Of particular note was attitude from Restaurant Manager at El Olivo. After we complained about steaks which were clearly presented "raw" after we ordered them "well done", their waiter offered they would be further cooked & would be "on the house". Afterwards we were billed for the steaks, and when I objected to the Manager he quickly became visibly & audibly angry. We paid for the steaks if only to save the waiter from any negative fallout.

Experienced poor attitude on at least three occasions. Oliva Nova should acknowledge this & recognise they should do something about it otherwise customers like us will find alternative Hotels to spend our money.

Fantastisk opphold

While the location and the service in general at Oliva Nova is great, the quality of the hotel accomodation (room: bed quality, room equimpent) leaves room for improvement, while also need to mention that the food in the hotel is also very good. Very important to know - for kids only the outside swimmingpool can be used, not this inside one. This is very important to know when the weather is still not warm enough for outside water fun. In general, we spent good time with family.

We had a fantastic family weekend trip to Oliva Nova. The accommodation had a nice roof top with a private pool which our kids (6,9,10 years old) loved.
We played golf one day with instructor Kiko, who was great with the kids. We also managed to play padel and walk along the beach. There are many good restaurants at the premises. The breakfast buffe at the hotel is exceptionally good.
If you want to get out a bit, I can recommend Playa de Oliva, which is about 10 mins drive) and has plenty of more restaurants.

Its a nice place for a few dahs to a week or two. Perfect if you like putting about with the golf clubs or whatever. Peaceful, pleasant enough. Expensive to park at twenty bucks per night but they offer a complimentery breakfast whi h is absolutely fantastic and more than makes up for it. Full hot English with bacon, to order eggs, sausage, beans... well, anything you could imagine is on the buffet and, being so.ewhat of an afficianado of the "breakfasting experience", I would reccomend it. The resteraunt staff are so, so friendly and accomadating and cannot do enough for you. I had a fantastic view of the golf course and could also see my motor car from the balcony, which is lovely, so it was overall a lovely place to stay.

Definitely wouldn’t give this place 4 stores. Very expensive and dated. My husband and I visited over the weekend, and were very disappointed. The rooms were very expensive and we just had a standard room, which was fairly dated, mould around the bath in the bathroom, and no free water on arrival provided, like you receive in other hotels, WiFi was poor, not connecting overly well. It was a very warm weekend when we visited, and unfortunately as it’s now winter months, the hotel had turned off their air-con and were heating the rooms, it was absolutely ridiculous, the room was like a sauna and we were advised to just “open the balcony door”.
Parking was also very expensive, if you want to park at the hotel it’s €18 a night, or you can park a short walk away, which is €9 a night.

Really poor tired minimal room with uncomfortable bed, one small pillow and tiny bathroom right next to the bed..you could have touched the loo from the bed! It was clean though.
Was very very disappointed, will not go back.
Golf course looked good & the equestrian centre was good and friends in the local apartments had nice accommodation so I think it’s just the hotel rooms that’s poor and old.

Nothing to eat after 4pm just snacks.
Parking says free but it’s 19 euro. Yes you can park for free on the street but who wants that? It says free but it’s obviously not.

Dog poop outside our apartment.
The flush botton was just hanging.
Black mold in the bathroom.

4 star. Sure. Maybe 2 on a sunny day.

Los precios son excesivos para la calidad que dan en el bufet y en la carta (45€ por persona y comida).
El sitio necesita renovación. Las camas balinesas, no hay ninguna libre y la gente desaparece.
Las chicas de animación y kids club geniales y Lionel Gallardo un mago espectacular.

Hotel básicamente familiar, con ambiente familiar y presencia de niños en todas las instalaciones, si eres de los que no disfrutan demasiado de este ambiente no es recomendable, si no te importa es un hotel correcto para pasar unos días relajándote en la playa

A comparación del año anterior, echamos en falta mas actividades para niños y mas variedad de comida/merienda en la zona de bar/snack. El resto ok, correcto como siempre

Resepsjonisten var særdeles imøtekommende og serviceinnstilt. Sjefen hans var ikke det. Vi vurdete å oppgradere til spa for 120€ pr døgn, uten å skifte rom. Vi var på rom 2405, som har brukbar sjøutsikt. Premium-rommene har ikke det. Vi ble i det litt slitte rommet av den grunn. Hotellet har særdeles dårlig utsikt mot havet, til tross førstelinje mot en nydelig strand. Veldig bra frokost og fint bassengområde. Hyggelig ansatte, som alltid var blide. Golfdelen et veldig bra, og de har til og med Toptracer på rangen... og du kan til og med kjøpe rangeballer med kort på rangen. Etter min erfaring er dette uvanlig bra. Golfbanen var bra og kommer gjerne tilbake.
