We could not have been more happy with the view from our room balcony it’s a view you could have never imagined with the sweet price. It was no more than a 10 minute walk to old town and the food market. The room was clean and the man was very welcoming and accommodating.

Went to check in at the house and the man wouldn’t answer the door had to get hotels.com to contact him with no joy!!
Finally 2 hours later he let us in and blamed us for the late booking.
The place was filthy, this is a room in his house which may i add he did not leave.
There was faeces on the bathroom floor and all ovee the shower mat and the toilet was disgusting, i had to put toilet roll on the seat to use it. The towels were not changed throughout the 4 night stay nor was the bedding, i would definitely not recommend anyone to stay here and hotels.com need to review this as it is not upto standard that i would expect when booking through them!!

The balcony and view were amazing! Great place to relax and see every bit of Old Town.
But...
Please be aware that there are 140 steep stairs from the street to the door.
Spa services consists of a small inflatable hot tub (functionality untested), laundry services was a small non-functioning washer/dryer in bath room. Bath room is shared, down the hall, and could have been a lot cleaner. There may be a camera in the shared area between the rooms.
But then again...there is the awesome view!

The hike to get there with a huge suitcase is not an easy one. But, you are richly rewarded with the most magnificent views of all of the old city and marina. No need for the expensive cable car. Just be prepared to climb, climb and, climb stairs everywhere in dobrovnic. Make sure you book the panoramic Seaview room. Otherwise, it wouldn’t be worth all that effort

The owner was very nice, the location was good (but you need to have strong legs for all the stairs!) and the view is incredible. The room is generally fine, but there were several issues: there was no shampoo, there were several used bars of soap around the bathroom, there was no toilet paper, and the shower drain was clogged. Hopefully these issues will be attended to in the future and this will be a nicer place to stay.

The views from the property were fantastic, over all the Old Town and harbour.
There are a lot of steps up but that’s what provides the view!

260ish steps between old town and this apartment which is quite an effort worth it for the view though.

Slight smell to the bathroom, but we got used to it. Overall very nice place to stay.

Great location for seeing the sites. Lots of stairs to get to location. We had to call the owner to open the door. Parking was confusing and not guaranteed by the owner. Walkable location met all our needs. Don't pack heavy, you have to climb up many steps to get there.

Most amazing view of the old town walls and the port but you must climb 200 steps to see it. Sporadic wifi. Hot water. Beautiful terrace. If you have heavy luggage or are older you may want a different option. Once you get there the view is unparalleled short of taking the cable car. But once you leave you are out for the day!

Could not get any better , and ESP for the price

Minus the stair climbing it takes to get here, the location is very convenient--the cable car stop and airport bus stop are basically at the foot of the stairs, and old town is almost right below the cable car. Most of the local hotels are a ways away and require bus trips to get to old town. As long as you aren't expecting and don't need hotel-style service, this is a great, comparatively affordable place to stay, with the added bonus that you start working off all of your wonderful meals on the trip home.

A tough climb up to the room, but all of Dubrovnik is a tough climb. The initial walk to the room with luggage is tiring and there is nowhere to park but far away. We ended up getting our car towed while we brought up our things and talked to the owner. Otherwise the room is nice, old fashioned and not terribly comfortable with two single beds.

A great place to stay! We were in the East room. We had a stunning view of Dubrovnik. The room was set up with two twin beds (side by side) a table and chairs, a mini fridge, tv, and air conditioner. The beds were very comfortable. The shared bathroom was nice and is only shared with two other rooms. There are a lot of stairs to get to the house, so beware if you are not good with stairs. I definitely will recommend this guest house to friends.

The location of the hotel was spot on with only a 10 minute walk to the old town where there is a hive of activity, and also the same distance to the beach at the east/west beach club. If booking ask for the room with the sea view such an amazing view of the sea and old town and nice to sit on the balcony and take it all in. The room it self was fairly basic with fridge and kettle. As this is someones house the bathroom is shared, but depends on how many guests are there at the time, the whole apartment was clean and we were allowed to access the kitchen and use the appliances. I would definetly recommend this apartment for it's price and location.

Very nice view of the old town. Room clean and kitchen to be shared with others but convenient. Nice balcony outside to be shared. Had to park far in the street and free place not alway available. Over 100 steps to reach the apartment so not always convenient after a busy day.

I traveled w/ my husband and 11 year old son. My brother traveled w/ his wife and two toddlers. We were able to get one room for each family and enjoy the view, city and proximity to the beach. It was nice to have access to a kitchen, and the grocery store down the street. Our room had a private bath/kitchenette and a great view. My brothers room had an extra bed and an AMAZING view. It isn't fancy, but we were comfortable.

This place requires a climb up the hill (steps) behind the old town with your luggage - but it's such a wonderful view from the top that you forget about that. You get use of a bathroom, kitchen, dining room with your bedroom (we had the flat to ourselves for our stay) and most importantly, a private balcony with a spectacular view of Old Dubrovnik. We cooked meals and shared many wonderful hours on that balcony, our respite from tourist life in the mornings and evenings. The owner was nice too.
