Great hotel, convenient location
Pros:

The staff was great, especially the lady in the breakfast room and both receptionists. Very attentive and knowledgeable. We stayed for 3 nights. The room was very large and comfortable, good size bathroom and comfortable bed.

Cons:

The room was on the second floor but the lift only takes you to the first floor, so we have to carry your luggage up one flight of stairs, which is not ideal for such a prominent hotel in Pienza.
The hotel has a private car park but it comes at a 20 euros per night on top of the room. We did find some free parking just nearby but these are very few and it might be difficult to find a spot in a more busy period of the year. Something to bear in mind when booking and budgeting your holiday

E' stato più che soddisfacente soprattutto piacevole.
Pros:

Ottima colazione abbondante con vasta scelta, vicinissima al centro storico, parcheggio coperto facile da raggiungere. Ci tornerei volentieri.

Cons:

Avrei preferito la doccia, invece della vasca idromassaggio. Il resto tutto perfetto.

Todo perfecto, recibimiento, personal amable, comodidades. Desayuno variado y excelente ubicación a las puertas del casco histórico de Pienza

BEAUTIFUL HOTEL SAN GREGORIO

My husband & I enjoyed the most relaxing & simply wonderful 3 days at beautiful San Gregorio . This former opera house has a lovely fountain at the entrance, pristine grounds. & a gorgeous pool . The hotel's location is ideal . & with an easy 1/10 mile walk ,you will arrive at the historic sites, restaurants , & shops in Pienza . What we found to be exceptional about Hotel San Gregorio was the outstanding hospitality of the entire staff , & the tranquil atmosphere . Thank you to Nicola , the owner, & his Mother Anna Lita , who were so gracious & welcoming . & always available to answer any questions . Thank you to Alessandra & Silvia (Guest Relations ) )who were absolutely fabulous ! Silvia & Alessandra along with Nicola answered my emails promptly . They made sure our transportation needs were reserved well in advance .Also I always book directly with hotels . Hotel San Gregorio,s restaurant La Piazzetta was lovely . Thank you to Aldo & Stefano who were very attentive & welcoming . The Tuscan cuisine was delicious , but it was Aldo & Stefano who made our dining experience perfect ! The unrushed atmosphere is exactly what we enjoy when dining in Italy. Thank you to Jenny & Gabriele , the barista, ( Breakfast Room ). Each morning we looked forward to the buffet breakfast . There were plenty of fresh &delicious sweet & savory items to enjoy . It could get quite busy , but Jenny was always attentive . Gabriele made the most perfect decaf cappuccino & double espresso with steamed milk , & we so enjoyed lingering over a second cup . It was such a relaxing start to each day . Thank you to Elena & Nina ( Housekeeping,) Nina & Elena took the upmost care in making sure our suite was immaculate each day . We did not need to ask for anything . We appreciated finding our rooms refreshed each afternoon when we returned . Our suite was large . the decor classic , & we were very comfortable during our 3 day stay . Thank you to all the wonderful people at beautiful Hotel San Gregorio , you all made our stay with you truly memorable ! We were very fortunate to be your guests ! Grazie, Peggy & George

Ottimo hotel,centrale,camere pulite
Pros:

Ottima struttura,personale accogliente,camera pulita. É stato comodo trovare anche nel parcheggio dell’hotel la postazione per poter caricare auto elettrica.

Migliorerei l’insonorizzazione delle camere,si sente tutto.

Excelente localização, estrutura muito boa, café da manhã bem gostoso.

Cons:

Quem for de carro não tem estacionamento gratuito, tem um custo adicional por noite de 20,00 euros. Achei bem caro sendo que o estacionamento pertence ao hotel.
