Clean room, staff very friendly and helpful at reception.

Above all was the friendliness of all the staff. They all seem to enjoy working there. Always a smile and always willing. They all make you feel very welcome.

Too far from town and uphill. Pay to use gym,indoor pool. breakfast not included

This is not a 4 star hotel! Despite having a nice pool (with few sun lounges) and being in a good location, the additional costs of a kettle, iron & pool towels is mean-spirited & not consistent with a 4 star hotel. The limited, inflexible, unappetizing breakfast is also poor. In a country that grows millions of oranges, why would you offer guests orange drink? Horrible, Other reviews have also mentioned the limited breakfast. Our hotel room wasn’t cleaned - when my wife complained, the female receptionist argued with her, & the cleaner herself insisted she’d cleaned it, despite the head house keeper establishing clearly that the room hadn’t been cleaned. The female receptionist overcharged me for the per day hire of a safety deposit box; while the male receptionist was polite & tried to rectify the payment, the female receptionist sought me out in my room & personally objected to the fact that I was trying to retrieve my money because (in her words) “it was only a few Euros”. This sort of personal attack on guests is unacceptable & unprofessional. I asked for a quiet room and was given a room above reception and next to the bar / entertainment area. It was advertised as parking on site but in fact you just parked in a public space wherever you could find parking.

The staff were so nice and friendly. Wonderful reception, thank you Claudia!!! Rooms were spacious and we had a balcony overlooking the ocean, town and beach. Food was good at the restaurant. Always ready to help. Wonderful stay.

A solo stay for short holiday - the hotel is nice, very clean, with friendly and helpful staff.

Cons - It is a bit more expensive that other hotels that offer much the same, so it depends on personal preference. I prefer self catering so for me this it's unneccesarily costly, and I was shocked to learn that you have to pay (as a guest) to use the gym, sauna and steam room, as well as other things, such as hiring a kettle/towels.

Pros - lovely pool area and late night services for food/drinks (10pm). Close to ammenities.

Claudia at the front desk is a gem. She took very good care of us. Nice hotel. Well located if you want to sleep at night. The bathroom is renovated and very clean.

The hotel is well located, not far away from the sea and the city center of Albufeira. Very welcoming team. Our room with terace was spacious with a nice sea view. Useful to have snacks available at the swimming pool. Having a free public parking space is also a great plus. We have had a very good time at this beautiful hotel !

Le personnel très sympa et agréable et bien serviable bravo

Sniket beteende på Hotellet. Inga näsdukar på rummet. Bara en nyckel. På frukosten fanns vita bönor varannan dag. Lovades rabatt i restaurangen som vi aldrig fick. Maten sådär, mycket bättre att äta ute i stan. Däremot kvar städningen toppen och det två av receptionisterna var mycket trevliga.

Hotel propre mais chambre avec décors désuet, ne remettent pas de produits comme le savon, shampoing s’ils sont terminés ou presque, insonorisation pauvre a cause des portes en bois et des planchers en céramique, 2 lits simples moins appréciés....tout cela nous a déçu pour le prix....trop cher selon nous si on compare avec les autres hôtels faits durants notre séjour au Portugal.
Bien situé mais très en hauteur par rapport au centre et a la plage, ça tient en forme!! Environnement calme apprécié toutefois.
Piscine extérieure avec resto snack très bien. Déjeuner très bien.
N’avons pas pu profiter de toutes leurs autres installations car n’avons pas eu le temps....
Je recommande mais avec certaines réserves selon les critères de chacun!

O Hotel é rasurável, porem não ficamos no Hotel e sim ao lado, ou seja, em uma extensão do Hotel na Rua ao lado, num quarto no subsolo, muito velho e de ruim acesso. Tinhamos que sair na Rua e andarmos até o Hotel para tomar o café da manhã e se queríamos usar as demais dependência do Hotel, como piscina e etc, também. Porem não gostei de reservar um Hotel no preço que pagamos a diária para ficarmos em outro local, ou seja, em um pequeno prédio ao lado e não no Hotel. Não gostei.

Perfekt läge på höjden endast kort promenad från Albufeiras restauranger, barer och fin strand. Lugnt men nära till puls. Utsikten från balkongen över byn och stranden var fantastisk. Allt var rent och fräsch dock lite gammalmodigt. Frukosten var ok men inte den bästa. Gymmet kostade extra och depositioner krävdes för allt från safetybox till poolhanddukar. Det fanns två gratisparkering nära, men hotellet garanterade inte en plats, vilket antyddes i beskrivningen.

Det dryppede med vand fra et lys armatur på badeværelset, så der var Farre for brand.
Værelset var for lille til prisen.
Der var tusindvis af måger der skreg døgnet rundt.

Just returned from a wonderful week-long stay at the Hotel Do Cerro and I must admit that we were both hugely impressed by the layout and most of all, the friendliness of the staff who are simply wonderful. Although the location is slightly uphill, do not let that put you off as it is located within a quiet area less than ten minutes walk to the centre of the old town. Rooms were clean, the pool small but comfortable (no fighting for sun beds!) and my wife and I had a great stay. I will return to this hotel and can highly recommend it.
