Great family run hotel
Pros:

The staff are very friendly and parking was just outside the hotel. Short distance to Marburg and surrounding areas. The restaurant serves great food and reasonable prices. The room was comfortable and large.
The garden and outdid sitting area are very nice. We could help ourself from the breakfast buffet and pots of tea or coffee were brought to the table.

Cons:

The room has no air conditioning or fan so at night we had to open the windows. Unfortunately a wedding had been booked so we could neither use the restaurant that evening and guests we still talking at 4 am in the morning outside our room, leading to a restless night. A warning would have been appreciated or a reduction in price for the spoiled rest ( we did not ask). The breakfast buffet is ok, not great but ok.

Für einen Zwischenstopp und zur Stadtbesichtigung sehr zu empfehlen.
Pros:

Sehr gutes familiengeführtes Hotel. Gute Lage / Entfernung zur Stadt Marburg. Nette Gaststätte mit deutscher Küche.

Schlaflose Nacht

Cons:

Leider war eine Hochzeitsfeier im Restaurant die Nacht über sehr laut und unser Fenster genau gegenüber des Hintereingangs zur Küche, wo das Personal lautstark Raucherpause machte. Das Zimmer hat sich schnell aufgeheizt, weil es keine Klimaanlage hat, sodass man das Fenster öffnen musste, um nicht ins schwitzen zu kommen. Dadurch konnten wir mit unserem kleinen Baby das Ziel der Übernachtung, nämlich in Ruhe etwas außerhalb der Stadt wirklich zu schlafen, nur sehr schwer erfüllen... Wir hätten uns über eine Mitteilung, dass es lauter werden kann, oder eine umsichtigere Zimmerzuteilung gefreut. Leider war nach 21 Uhr auch die Rezeption geschlossen und telefonisch nachts niemand mehr zu erreichen, um das Problem direkt vor Ort zu lösen. Die Kissen waren leider auch nicht so bequem.

Bakhagen, var utrolig koselig. Veldig bra at det var gratis mini kjøleskap m innhold.

Sehr schönes Hotel was uns gefallen hat wir kommen gerne wieder.
Pros:

Das Hotel ist sehr schön ,liegt ruhig, die Zimmer schön , sauber und groß genug. Frühstück sehr lecker und reichlich auswahl. Das Personal ist sehr zu vorkommend.
Das Hotel liegt nahe der Stadt Marburg und ist schnell zu erreichen.

Cons:

Die Matrazen von unserem Bett waren uns zu weich. Bei sehr heißen Temperaturen ist es relativ warm Nachts.

Overall good and honest hotel.
Pros:

The hotel is good value for money. Clean, close to Marburg and with an excellent restaurant next to it.

Cons:

Had a single bed which made a lot of noise every time I moved at night. In addition it was pretty hot as there is no air conditioning.
