Pros:

The moment my friends and I stepped into the hotel we felt welcome. Ilse & Peter immediately made us feel at home and the fact that I could speak in my very foreign Afrikaans language, and they understood me, made it even more special! It's a great place to stay over, or perhaps to have a holiday (which I will do sometime with the family). The location is spectacular, in a pine forest and super relaxing and away from everything. I can attest to the fact that this is definitely a bikers' venue. Motorcycles from all over Europe were parked in the parking lot and it was special to hear all the various languages spoken while we relaxed under the trees after a long day's ride. The food in the restaurant is another highlight that deserves a mention. The head chef and his competent staff do a fantastic job in the kitchen and our dinner was Michelin-star quality! This place will always be on my itinerary whenever I travel through the area again. Well done, Ilse & Peter, you make your guests feel at home and we appreciated your hospitality. All the best for the future, and we'll see you soon again!

Wonderful all-seasons family-owned retreat
Pros:

Great time in the secluded Domaine de l'Adoux for a birthday weekend. Besides the fact that the whole Montclar area won our hearts as we cycled through it, we have to commend the friendliness of the owners, the top-grade food served for dinner, and the delightful chalet-style setting. We will be back for sure, in all seasons.
