Für uns mit kleinem Kind war es super komfortabel. Kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Für City Trip ideal
Pros:

Das Frühstück war reichhaltig. Das Zimmer hat alles gehabt was man braucht, nur die Matratzen könnten erneuert werden. Kurzer weg zur Innenstadt. 10min hinunter und ca 15min hinauf.

Pros:

The hotel is very well located, close to the city centre (5 min walk).
Breakfast is amazing and as we were lucky with the weather, enjoying it on the terrace with a splendid view was top.
Highly recommended.

Cons:

The main door is not easy to open/close (maintenance) and at the exit, there is no pathways in the street, so be careful with coming cars. Anyway, next time I would return there as it is worth !

Pros:

Schöne ruhige Lage. Entspannte Athmosphäre. Zentrum fußläufig erreichbar (wobei der Rückweg aufgrund der steil ansteigenden Straße etwas anstrengend ist). Gutes Frühstück. Garagenparkplätze vorhanden (EUR 8,--pro Tag).

Cons:

Gesamte Anlage etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

Handy calm place near the centre
Pros:

Liked the modern block, the gardens and views. Breakfast was also very generous.

Not much! It’s Madeira so it’s on a hill and about 10-12 mins from the centre.

Schönes Hotel in toller Lage

Tolle Lage mit schönen Blick auf die Stadt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Cons:

Leider gibt es zu wenig Steckdosen im Zimmer. Auch die Nachtischbeleuchtung reicht zum Lesen nicht.

Sprookjesachtige lokatie met scheve prijs kwaliteit verhouding.
Pros:

Het uitzicht vanaf het balkon. De grootte van de kamer. De mooie authentieke elementen in het oude gedeelte van het hotel, waar onze hotelkamer gelegen was. En de heerlijk rustige omgeving midden in de tijd.

Cons:

Ontbijt niet van het niveau van hotels uit zelfde prijsklasse. Broodjes niet vers afgebakken. Geen exotisch fruit, slechte koffie. En bediening hoewel heel aardig, erg vergeetachtig. Hard, echt hard matras. Geen gratis koffie op de kamer. En geen mogelijkheid om thee te zetten. Ontbijt medewerkers moesten heel hard werken want zij moesten ook de receptie werkzaamheden tussendoor doen.
Het was allemaal geen ramp maar voor bijna 200 euro per nacht zijn dit de details die er toe doen.
