An old, tired looking hotel with dated fixtures and fittings in superb location!
Pros:

Very basic. Not up to the standard I would expect for the money I paid.

Cons:

The rooms were very dated. No wifi. Breakfast was poor.

All in all, it was a very pleasant stay.
Pros:

The hotel is within easy walking distance from the downtown high-speed train station. Note: Qingdao has several train stations.
The seaside location gives it a touch of Chinese holiday flair.
We had a nice room with a sea view. The rooms are a bit dated but still okay and clean.
To communicate with the staff, you'll need to rely on a translation app.
From the hotel, it's easy to explore the old town with its historic German-influenced architecture.

Pros:

Great location with a view of Zhanqiao Pier. Very comfortable and clean.
