There was a smell of mold in the room, I am glad we had no small children or I would have asked for another room.
But it was only a one night stay so we didn’t request another room.
I told the clerk about it.

Dirty, smelly outdated room with a price of a high end hotel
Pros:

I was very disappointed in the quality of this property for the cost. We paid $380 USD I was told it would be less and that the shuttle was free, clearly it was built into the cost.
The room smelled musty, the bed was poor and the sheets were not good either, old and barley fit the bed. The carpets in the hall were filthy.
Breakfast was very good in the morning.
shuttle was delayed but we still got their on time.

For a Hilton brand hotel it was not good at all

Clean and Well Run Property
Pros:

I stayed at this property during a February 9-13 business trip. My previous experiences at two other Homewood Suites set my expectations quite low. I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the entire property, including my suite, lobby/dining area and the very nice outdoor pool area. The friendliness and assistance provided the staff, and the morning breakfast offerings were a plus. And the Wednesday evening happy hour was a nice touch. The van service from the airport was about a 20 minute wait. But the hourly service back to the airport was efficient and on time.

Got the job done!
Pros:

There were 8 of us in 2 of the suites that claim they can sleep 5 people. Staff, breakfast and free shuttle from the airport was great, but the room was small for 5 people. The bathroom was attached to the bedroom so eveyone had to go through the bedroom to use the washroom which was not ideal. We had to shove the table into the small kitchen to have room for the cot for the 5th person and had to ask numerous times for enough Bedding for all the beds. We expected this to be set up for our arrival, but it wasn't. We had to request the cot and then request the Bedding and put it together, after a delayed flight had us arriving way later than expected. It was also very pricey for what we got and don't even entertain the shuttle to the port Everglades — $20/person. We got an Uber for way, way less. We also found it weird that they have us a welcome package (two bottles of water and two cookies (for five people) and the other room didn't get anything for the exact same room).

This place is a disaster
Pros:

We waited over an hour for the shuttle from the airport and ended up taking an Uber it was 1:30 in the morning. When we finally checked in we were given the wrong level room. We moved to a different room. The welcome screen on the TV had someone else's name on it. The TV was not hooked up to antennae, we had to figure that out. I did not want to sleep under the covers. It was giving an overall gross and unclean vibe. Furniture was worn and outdated. Hilton should be ashamed. Thank God we were only here one night.

The TV didnt work, I went the front desk to have maintenance come to my room, No one ever came so we were without an tv all night.

The carpet in the hallways were all filthy.
