The stay started out great right from check-in with Crtarshia finding out we were upgraded to an absolutely amazing room! The room was very spacious and well layed out for our family.

We SO enjoyed our stay here at the HWS Downtown Jacksonville! As a special thank you to Arturshia! She checked us in and made out stay incredible right from the beginning being so accommodating, recommending great restaurants and making us feel so welcome from our first moments here! Thank you Arturshia!

Stayed here two nights before our cruise. It is within walking distance of several restaurants, grocery store, liquor store, etc. The service desk representatives were not very friendly or welcoming. They put a sign up that reads they are helping a guest when they are really next door talking to the Hilton Garden Inn front desk persons (the two hotels are joined together). One of the three persons were friendly-the other two could have cared less and would not look you in the face when talking.
The room was big enough. The tv worked half the time and then froze the other half. You would need to “reset” the tv from the back every so often when it froze.
There is railroad tracks right beside the hotel so if you don’t bring a loud fan, you will be woken up several times during the night.
We would not stay here again.

We had an awesome experience at Homewood Suites in Southbank. Artaeshia, at the front desk, is an absolute angel! She made check in a breeze and absolutely made my Son’s birthday trip a success. The room was amazing and was plenty of space for our family of 5. We have always loved this property and its proximity to San Marco. Artaeshia is the kind of person that will keep us coming back and made it such a personable and lovely visit.

Artaeshia was such a joy and a great attitude to be treated with on our way into our stay! She was super sweet to our kids and just started out trip off right!

The staff was nice and helpful. The location was fine. The room was spacious with all the necessities.

This hotel is in the perfect location to explore the historic town of San Marco on foot. It was not too busy, but there were enough people around so that I never felt unsafe in walking alone. There are so many restaurants, boutiques and historic sites to explore! San Marco has both high-end restaurants and interesting consignment stores so it fits every budget. Rusted: A Vintage Market had some very interesting treasures.
The amenities at the hotel are nice with a decent breakfast each morning and snacks on Wednesday evening. Since this is located at a horseshoe bend in the river, the views are great.

I appreciate the entire staff here, namely Mrs. Artarshia!! She helped make a hopeless situation go by a lot more smoothly. Each time I have had any concerns I know that I could go to her for assistance. Mrs. Artarshia is very good at what she does and is the funniest person you’ll ever meet. I’ll always appreciate the times she had me rolling and positive advice and vibes that she’s given. She’s a beam of sunshine.

Comfortable and clean
