Good, shortened due to medical occurence.
Pros:

Breakfast was great. Staff superb.

Cons:

Room was a little small for us. We usually book condo style due to excess medical supplies etc.

Expected Better
Pros:

We recently stayed here and had a mixed experience. Unfortunately, our first impression wasn’t the best because the woman working the front desk at check-in was not very friendly or welcoming. Thankfully, the other staff members we interacted with during our stay were pleasant and helpful.

When we went to shower after using the pool, we discovered that the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispensers in our room were all empty. Since the dispensers were locked to the wall, we weren’t able to shower until the next morning. Staff handed us replacement bottles instead of refilling the dispensers. We also had to request dish soap, something to wash dishes with, and additional toilet paper.

The heated pool was colder than expected, and the hot tub had such a strong chemical smell that it made my eyes burn. On two evenings, there were several children playing very loudly and out of control in the pool area, which made it less enjoyable.

The room itself had a few maintenance issues. The bathroom was very small and could use some updating for the price we paid. The dining table was wobbly, and when we arrived, the sliding screen door for the balcony was completely off its track and sitting out on the balcony. A table that seats four would have been much more practical than the small two-person table.

One thing we noticed was that staff seemed to be very warm and engaging with other guests while we felt somewhat overlooked throughout our stay.

On the positive side, the location is excellent, the views were beautiful, and the complimentary full breakfast was a nice perk. The fire pits around the hotel were nice but got very busy each night. Enjoyed the fireplace in the bedroom. Overall, there were some things we enjoyed, but the service, room condition, and amenities didn’t quite match the price we paid.

Very Disappointing Experience.
Pros:

We had a really disappointing experience here. We stayed for 4 nights, with an oceanfront king room and second room with a bunk bed. Room 22- which was not great. First, the room is right near the elevator so we heard a constant hum of the elevator all night. I'd like to preface by saying we are not complainers. However, things went down hill from there, as our room was NEVER serviced by housekeeping for our entire 4 night stay. After night 2, my husband requested that the room be cleaned and towels replenished. And the hotel still neglected to do so. We had to ask for new towels each day and literally take out our own trash.

Now, the hotel did give us one night back as a refund, which we appreciate, as we think that was the right thing to do. But for a resort on the ocean to be this careless as to not have a room cleaned is unacceptable. Overall, there was just a lack of attention to detail. For example, there was bird poop all over our patio furniture on the balcony. That should not happen for a room at that price point.

Overall, a very disappointing experience.

Coho - Look no Further!
Pros:

My mom and I take an annual beach trip with my dog every summer. We discovered the Coho last summer and had the best experience! This summer we knew we had to go back, and it did not disappoint! The service and team is incredible, friendly, and always so accommodating. Aurora has gone above and beyond during both of our stays, making the Coho in a no-brainer for all future stays. The atmosphere and amenities are incredible. We love the Coho, and so does our furry friend! Thank you so much Aurora for your top notch service and kindness! See you next summer :)

Not enough chairs outside for sitting on the backside of the property. (Note, most of the rooms have balcony or patio with chairs, ours had a nice bay window but not a balcony)

Highly recommended hotel
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at Coho Oceanfront Lodge. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Melody made our experience even better. When we met her, she was incredibly kind, accommodating, and understanding. Her customer service was truly 10/10, and she made us feel comfortable and genuinely cared.

Because of Melody and the great experience we had, we would definitely stay here again and highly recommend Coho Oceanfront Lodge to our friends and family. Thank you for making our trip so memorable!
