Bella struttura in uno dei posti più caratteristici di Palermo.

Cons:

La zona è completamente pedonale e ZTL,
Quasi impossibile l'accesso anche con lo scooter preso a noleggio.

Cons:

La chambre ne correspondait pas à ce que l'on choisi sur le site. Les photos ne reflète pas la chambre. On avait pris la haut de gamme. Douche minuscule et chambre sombre. Sur les photos la chambre était clair spacieuse avec baignoire.

Nice central hotel. Old style charm with new facilities
Pros:

A very nice hotel located in the centre of Palermo. The entrance is unassuming but the welcome is generous and although it took a little longer than expected to go through the check-in process it was all done efficiently and courteously. The route to our room was interesting. Along a corridor, past the dining room and then through to an inner courtyard complete with tables and a tall palm tree. On the other side of the courtyard as well as an exit to the main street was our lift which took us oh so slowly up to our floor where our room was located in a securely sealed and air conditioned new looking corridor. The room itself was a good size and although there was no outside view to speak of the facilities were all modern. The shower was exceptional, but the huge advantage of this section of the hotel was the wonderful A/C and the relief it brought from the soaring outside temperatures.
Breakfast was OK, but they don't know how to serve tea. Not a problem, but there were several long waits for some buffet dishes to be replenished. We had the time, so we weren't bothered, but if we'd had a train or plane to catch it might have become frustrating.
The street outside is very busy with pedestrians and one direction only for traffic, so taxis to/from the hotel will often drop you a little distance away to save the additional fare cost.
Our only complaint was that on one afternoon when we vacated our room in order to allow it to be cleaned the bar refused to serve us a beer! Never been refused service as a resident in a hotel bar before, but each to their own I guess. The gentleman said we could have something else, but not beer! What was that all about???
Recommended. Good hotel overall. A beer would have made it even nicer!

Wonderful staff and exceptional location

The location is superb and so is the staff

Cons:

The double bed is two single beds put next to each another and keep moving sideways, so whenever sleeping in the middle it becomes very uncomfortable.

Meraviglioso palazzo del 600 sapientemente ristrutturato in pieno centro a Palermo. Personale premuroso e sorridente. Servizio molto efficiente per il parcheggio dell’auto nel loro garage.
