Hôtel Restaurant de la Poste et du Lion d'Or

Une merveille d'hôtel...le lieu, le bâtiment, le personnel,le restaurant tout est excellent, et toujours dans la bonne humeur...

Très bonne expérience, cadre soigné et de très bon goût. Chambre impeccable et confortable. Personnel très gentil et souriant. Nous n’avons pas pris le dîner sur place jusque le petit déjeuner… qui est peut être un peu cher (25€) … Vézelay est magnifique ! Quel endroit impressionnant et lumineux !

De la fenêtre de la chambre, la vue magnifique,apaisante sur la campagne environnante.

The bedroom was magnificent and the reception staff were charming helpful and efficient . However the visit was rather spoilt by a very poor supper with little choice and badly cooked main course. The wine list is good but overpriced

Beautiful area and hotel looks very pretty. Staff were nice and friendly. I paid a lot in thought for our room which was ‘superior’ but I wouldn’t call it that. The ‘terrace’ had hard bamboo chairs with no cushions so couldn’t sit outside. The view is the car park so whilst ok for one night not the expectation I had. Breakfast was lovely and location perfect. We were told on arrival the restaurant was booked but we managed to eat at a restaurant opposite which was excellent so I would recommend that. Also beware parking charges - you need to pay for public street parking and remember to do it in time. Overall a nice hotel, not special and could do with some updating.

A nice location in Vezelay France. Hotel staff is friendly and on top of things. Room seems a little dated but clean.

The only thing I thing I didn't liked was the 4pm checking time, other than that it is a nice hotel with a good location

Hotel bien situé à 8 mn à pied de la basilique de Vezelay .
Grande chambre avec deux fenêtres, bien équipée avec une grande salle d'eau.
Grand lit très confortable.

Hade en fin vistelse, men blev väldigt besviken att deras restaurang är stängd på tisdagar vilket inte kommunicerats, detta gällde även ett gäng av restaurangerna i Vézelay. Hotellet behöver även en uppfräschning från bilderna som syns här. Blev lite besviken och förväntningarna på låg högre.

The hotel is in a beautiful setting and the exterior is gorgeous. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. The hotel itself needs some updating.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt halt von Anfang bis Ende genossen. Das Zimmer gross und hell. Das Bett äusserst bequem. Das Personal unglaublich toll und das Essen ein Traum. Jederzeit wieder.

Suite a un problème de santé je n'ai pas pu me rendre dans l'établissement
j'ai voulu reporter la réservation mais on a préféré me facturer 100 % de la somme sans possibilité de report
une attitude peu commerçante que je déplore

Séjour toujours agréable dans cet excellent hôtel, à l'accueil chaleureux et très professionnel.

room was located in an adjacent building and accessed by going out and passing the court behind the hotel. It was marketed as a junior suite. In the reality, it was a relatively large, not at all cosy a three star bedroom with a cheap sofa bed for family use, and had nothing to do with the photo on the website. The gloomy character of the room was increased by the two very small windows and a tile floor without rugs, not even next to the bed (slippers were provided). I’ve of course not seen the other rooms in this part of the hotel but I would stongly recommend to avoid rooms 401 - 413.

Très belle chambre a la hauteur de l’endroit. Le personnel est charmant et très serviable.
Nous avons passé un très bon moment dans cet etablissement.

Hotel toujours agréable, même si la chambre est assez petite, occupée par un grand lit.
Personnel un peu désinvolte mais sympathique.

Un hôtel parfaitement situé avec une localisation très calme.
