Beautiful hotel just steps away from the magic of Florence. The room was modern and clean, and we loved being so close to everything — it made it easy to enjoy the city all day long. One small note: please check the lobby restrooms. Thank you everyone.
The location of the hotel is great, being only a five-minute walk from the Florence train station. Lots of restaurants nearby and I was able to walk to all tours and sightseeing I wanted to do. Had a few difficulties finding the entrance to the hotel, it shares an entrance with Garibaldi Blu Hotel which is the only signage. My room was clean, a decent size, had a TV with some English language channels, a fridge, kettle with tea and instant coffee, and a comfortable bed with plenty of pillows. The bathroom was modern; the shower was on the small size. The room was cleaned daily. Even though the hotel is located on a busy square, the room was quiet at night. The hotel breakfast was a buffet which contained a wide variety of items, from scrambled eggs with sausage (hotdogs), fruit, meat, cheeses, breads, cereal, yogurt, juices and a selection of sweets. They also made fresh coffee to order and had drip coffee available on the buffet. There was a smoking area in a courtyard within the hotel, and a bar located on the main floor which was perfect for a pre-dinner drink. All of the staff were friendly and were helpful when needed. This is a 4-star hotel and the cost seemed very reasonable relative to the quality and comfort this hotel offers.
Excellent staff, very attentive, professional and nothing is too much an ask. Location is ideal in the centre of Florence, close enough to everything you need. Decor and lobbies are very contemporary and quirky with their decor. Rooms are well looked after and some have great views across the Florence rooftops. Breakfast options are great and a bar open until midnight to enjoy a drink in the lobby.
There were construction works and scaffolding on the building right next to the hotel when we visited but you couldn't hear a thing from them when inside the hotel.
Stayed there for 4 nights as part of our honeymoon and couldn't fault any of it. They even had a life sized statue of Batman in the hallway as a bonus!
The room was spacious and clean but the shower was super small. My husband who is not large could barely fit in.
Shower cabinet is very small. I had to wash my feet in the bide
Great location, near restaurants, squares, train station and duomo
Downsides were how to find as the outside name is hotel garrabadi and not hotel Rosso 23 so spent time walking up and down looking for it. Breakfast was limited and difficult to love around and in crampt space
Excellent location. 5 minute walk from Santa Maria Novella train station. And within fast walk time to Medici Chapels, central market, accademia, Uffizi, and Ponte Vecchio. Quiet hotel. Well appointed room. Small bathroom especially shower. Service was great.
The hotel is clean and centrally located near the train station and all the wonderful sites of Florence with a nice breakfast and friendly staff. Our only issue was the size of the room, while I understand it’s an old Palazzo, our room was an awkward shaped room and far too small for three people, especially those travelling with luggage.
Beautiful hotel with great location. Staff were very kind and accommodating! Room was clean and comfortable, our only complaint was that the lighting was poor (only a few lamps in the bedroom area). The included breakfast was INCREDIBLE! Huge selection and the staff were very friendly. Would definitely stay here again!
Perfect hotel
Marco and Stefano are two GREAT front desk employees!!!!! They help me and wife a lot with during our stay in Florence!!!! They gave us a lot of great information on where to eat and visit.
Awesome hotel!!!!! Strongly recommend!
Cleaning standards are poor
I had a great stay at Hotel 23 Rosso. The location is great and safe while still being close to the train station. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. I had a travel issue with trains and they were very eager to help me figure out alternatives! - much appreciated
Lose to restaurants, shopping, Train Stattion
The lobby is grand, but the room setup is just average. The bathroom, in particular, is extremely small and does not live up to a 4-star standard.
The noise from upstairs coming through the floor is terrible. Sounded like baby elephants dancing in the room above us.
One of the tiniest showers I have ever seen with a huge bench in the bathroom.
With an internal window all the noise from the downstairs kitchen travels upstairs so u will likely be woken from around 6am.
Couldn’t work out why our socks and slippers were going yellow till we realised some sort of yellow liquid was leaking through the light in the bathroom ceiling. Disgusting trying not to imagine what this could be… staff told us they only work there and to email manager.
Good location and breakfast but would not stay here again or recommend it to others
I fully recommend Rosso 23 hotel to stay in a comfortable room with a lot of space, confortable beds and pillows.
After visiting other hotels in Florence, Rosso 23 is the best in relation to price and quality, with the biggest room I've been in a hotel in Italy. Great location and good customer service also breakfast is included in the price and it is delicious!!
Other hotels with even twice the price don't offer what hotel Rosso 23 offers.
I would for sure stay at Rosso 23 on my next visit to Florence!!!
I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Rosso 23. The property is very clean, professional, and has an upscale feel. My room was a bit small, but still comfortable and well-maintained, with fresh towels and linens provided daily. The complimentary breakfast each morning was a great touch, and the staff went above and beyond -helping me with my suitcase to the elevator upon arrival and arranging a taxi transfer to the airport when I checked out. The location is fantastic, within easy walking distance to many attractions, shops, and restaurants. Overall, an excellent choice for a Florence stay!
Only issue was the shower space was very less and the rooms were not insulated at all. i could hear phone alarm in the next room. But other than that it was an amazing stay. Service and breakfast was impressive.
