Time for a Renovation
Pros:

This hotel felt very dated. I think they had an old 24" TV that looked like a computer monitor. The bed was a brick. The pillows were floppy and flat. The bathroom had the dreaded shower curtain which sticks to you (so gross). The bathroom also had old tile with grout that is never clean. Also, when we checked in we were notified that the pool and hot tub was closed. I think we should have received a discount for this. I felt sorry for the family that checked in right before us as the kids were looking forward to swimming. No pool or hot tub should have been noted in the booking process. Okay, not all bad. The breakfast was AWESOME...fresh, clean and delicious. I LOVED the waffles with raspberry topping!

I’d pick this hotel over all the others in Rockford just because of the friendly staff.
Pros:

Stayed here while working away from home. Working nights and sleeping during the day. I let the staff know that I would be sleeping during the day and they were more than understanding when I requested housekeeping a bit later during the day. Rooms was clean and everything worked as expected. Staff was exceptional, especially KC at the front desk. Greeted me by name and always had a smile and kind words.

The check in process was was easy. The staff were extremely friendlym

Cons:

The hot tub was dirty and gross. There were people in the pool with street clothes on. Babies with regular diapers on. There was an overall lack of cleanliness throughout the property.

Shelter from the snowstorm
Pros:

Hotel was easy to find, right off the interstate. Welcoming entryway with friendly staff. Room was kind of small but clean, quiet and comfortable-especially for the price!
