Hampton Inn & Suites Grafton

I was traveling through on business and was glad to find a Hilton property conveniently located off the interstate. I agree with the positive reviews that this is a well-maintained property with super friendly staff (Carolyn and Vernette at front desk were super friendly and helpful, Kiera in housekeeping took extra god care of me, and Sue whipped up a yummy breakfast complete with...BACON!).

Like some of the other reviewers, I'm also aware this is an older property, and I think even travelers who don't mind a little extra noise will want to choose and even-numbered room so their room isn't facing the highway. Yup, I did spot some scuff marks here and there, and yes, I did hear the TV in the next room and hallway noise (I agree with another reviewer that not having the "auto-fan" option on the thermostat was a bummer).

Still: for me this hotel earned a 5-star review as I had a great stay and I look forward to staying here again when future travels call for it.

Our bathroom toilet in our room did not flush properly, wasnt fixed until next morning when checking out. Some features that are ususlly present were not there--things such as a pitcher of water with ice & lemon, bottled water was not offered ,(I am a honors member) bathroom amenities were parse! Will not stay at this Hampton Inn again.

Worked for me, must have been something going on in the area I thought the price was a little high

I liked that it was close to the highway, close to where we where going, nice breakfast, clean room and property. I would recommend it to anyone coming to this area.

Our stay at the Hampton Inn was fine. The registration was wonderful and the attendant was very friendly and kind. I was disappointed in the room. I felt there was not enough light and the air conditioning was either too cold or warm. When the blower was on, it was very cold. I also didn't enjoy the pillows and slept terrible due to them and the air conditioning challenge.

The food options was ok for breakfast.

We stumbled onto this hotel. We are Hilton Diamond club members and were looking for a quick bathroom break and advice for activities in the area. The first person we saw was Luke, manning the front desk. With a welcoming smile he greeted us like old friends. We made it clear we were headed north for a planned event and would not be staying at this hotel. Luke offered several suggestions for activities and, as always the company man, suggested that we come back to his hotel later to stay. We tried a few days later, but the hotel was filled to capacity and we had to find other accommodations. But, as we drove through the area we stopped once again to see Luke. And once again, Luke greeted us with the warmest welcoming smile and more suggestions for activities in the area. Luke was spot on with his suggestions and was the perfect face for Hampton Inn. Hats off to this wonderful Hampton Inn representative!

They provided a great continental breakfast. There was a nice pool area, and it was not crowded. The room was big and comfortable.

I like everything on this place I will definitely choose this hotel next time

Bathroom floor was dirty. Wasn’t awful so didn’t say anything assuming would be cleaned the next day but they only do very other day cleaning so never got cleaned.

It was a perfect place for a quick stay

Great place

No towels, no toilet paper, and started with a long wait to just get checked in. It was just horrible from the start. Only 2 in front of us to check in, took over 30 minutes. Then we get to our room, no towels, I had to go to front desk to get them. Then on our second night they didn't replace the towels, and we ran out of toilet paper! We called the front desk, no apologies, just "ok". Waited 30 minutes, nothing. So we called again, they said we were on the service schedule, and rudely said they'd get to us. We said we at least need toilet paper now, so they brought that and just shoved it in our face at the door and walked away. Never had this rude of treatment.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was great and the room was clean and comfortable! Perfect for our two night stay needs.

Upon arrival after a long drive I waited 20 minutes to check in before leaving and coming back an hour later to try again. I later found that they often have only one person on staff. Although I must say the staff was nice when they had time for us.
The temperature controls were tricky and made the room hot when we were not moving about.
The toilet didn’t flush well.
The room was noisy being next to the expressway.
And they allowed an RV to camp right outside the front door for several days
